I have bought 2 of these. One for the car and the other for the home ( which I am using with my home hifi system ). I stream music and calls (occasionally) via my iPhone. For the home, I use this device with RCA cables (which connect to my amplifier) - male pins - on one end. And a female aux socket on the other end. This product then connects to the female aux socket!I find this solution a very cost effective way of converting my old hifi system to Bluetooth (total cost ~ £24 for cables & two of these Bluetooth devices). Great product!The only improvement ("nice to have feature") I would suggest for this product is an "on/off" switch for home use. I currently use my my mains socket for this purpose. The device powers on and pairs with my iPhone. I only had to pair my iPhone to this device once (during setup). For the car - the "on/off" switch is not needed, as it powers up and pairs once you connect the USB to the cigarette lighter power source. This improvement suggestion is academic, as I am using a car device for the home. And is more "a nice to have" feature! ### ⭐⭐ good idea poorly executed *by P***L on 10 October 2017* nice bluetooth receiver let down by poor audio quality.connects to the car no problem.only issue and its a big one,is that the volume from the device is quite low,even with the phone turned up full its never quite loud enough.other reviewers have mentioned the same problem.have since bought a similar item off ebay and the difference is night and day in overall quality and outright volume.if music is bad,using it for handsfree phone calls is even worse.cant recommend this device as there are plenty of better devices out there. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best thing I got for my car *by A***H on 9 April 2017* I have a BMW 5 series e60. My car has a usb port and aux jack in the central compartment which is hidden and I have stuck it next to the idrive button. It works amazingly once connected.
