Where is expiration date on this

There is no expiration date. There is a USED BY date on my latest box dating until 2090. Each piece is hermetically sealed.

Why is this listed as a Vegan food? According to the ingredients it's certainly not.

By definition, a vegan is "a person who does not eat any food derived from animals and who typically does not use other animal products". Where do eggs comes from? So, please, do not state that as vegan.

Is this hard torrone?

this is a soft, chewy "torrone" candy. very delicious & comes in vanilla, lemon & orange flavors...each wrapped & in its own "little box" for a total of 18 pcs per carton,it is an item my husband held dear through his childhood (50s & 60s). it is an item that is VERY hard to find....usually ONLY @ Christmas-time & only @ very few stores. finding it one yr does NOT guarantee that store will have it next year! sooooo, I was amazed & delighted to find I could purchase it @ amazon!! I was skeptical at first, as I didn't know if it would be "fresh", but I ordered last yr, & this yr again...so far/so good!! I ordered sev'l boxes last yr, so we are about to open the last of those now. sooo, if you want a "soft torrone"...be assured this item is it & enjoy!! mmm. merry, merry!!
