Barry M Duo Pencil Sharpener ,1 Count (Pack of 1)

If you’ve got eyeliner pencils with plastic casing, this sharpener is amazing. I’ve thrown away many partially used eyeliners-especially Rimmel scandalous eyes ones because I can’t sharpen them due to the plastic. Took a chance on this one and it actually worked. The plastic sharpened and the eyeliner wax didn’t get worn down or broken off. I am so pleased.

Struggled in the past to find a sharpener to sharpen those soft eyeliners that I prefer, but this is fab! Doesn't squidgy it up as it's sharpened and comes out perfectly pointed.. I can absolutely say this really is the sharpest tool in my box! 😁

Really handy sharpener. Has the two typical sizes for small and large pencils. I've sharpened a few of things and it's really smooth when sharpening. I like that you can see exactly how much is sharpening through the clear case so you can stop if you don't want a long point (my last one was black so you had to keep taking the pencil out which could make the pencil unevenly sharpened) . It has an unusual plastic 'rocker' that makes where the point of the pencil will stop when sharpened long or short. I've only used it on short and even then I stop before it reaches it so not sure how useful it is. It also has a pick stored inside to pull any clumped make up out which is useful! My cons are: the plastic ends which cover the sharpening holes seem as if they could snap off after lots of use. It hasn't happened though so can't complain yet; and to make it an equal oval shape the back is curved as the front but this doesn't collect shavings so is wasted space, as are the ends which are shaped too for no useful reason, slightly annoying when trying to carry in a crammed make up bag.

I’ve always avoided pencils because I’d have to sharpen them & up to now my experience of sharpeners has been that poor that I’d always pick wind up pencils over those that need to be sharpened. Before I went away on holiday I had to buy a sharpener because I’ve bought a viral long wear eye liner which I could not get as a wind up version. I ended up losing it as soon as I got back so decided to get another but then saw this one & with it being a brand name figured maybe that’s where I’d been going wrong all this time. So I gave this one a shot & it’s brilliant. No longer are all my pencils breaking off every time I try to sharpen them. I can actually get a good tip on my pencils again & don’t have to resort to freezing them first. Worth the investment as it’s nice & tidy, doesn’t open in my makeup bag & fill it with shavings etc - very impressed.

Good sharpener. Yes it does sharpen without chewing up the pencil. No it does not create a sharp point with the Barry M eyebrow pencil, but this is a soft pencil it may create a sharp with a harder pencil

Love this - best one I’ve ever had. Easy clean and because it’s oval it doesn’t damage anything in the makeup bag!

This is a really good sharpener which I use for my eyebrow pencils, it is the first make up aimed one I have had that doesn't seem to break the 'lead' and then wastes half of my pencil having to sharpen it more. It has design elements that are supposed to make it easier for emptying and cleaning, unfortunately it is let down by the case, which is rubbish and doesn't stay clicked together after about two uses. I have had a few of these and the problem has been the same for all, so is obviously a design flaw. Would be a five star review if they would just change the case. Price at time of purchase very reasonable, even if it is not perfect, it is cheaper to replace these than lose half a pencil every time I sharpen it with other sharpeners.

Wouldn't sharpen my eyeliner pencil so it's completely useless to me! A waste of 40+$.

Literally the best makeup pencil sharpener I have ever used; it seems like those few extra dollars make a real difference. Pencils turn easily, & come out always sharp, never snapped. As a goth girlie, I go through a lot of black eye pencils & dark lip-liners - I have had a lot of sharpeners, & a lot of frustrating results. The last sharpener I had ate basically half a new Rimmel ScandalEyes gel pencil, with break after break after break. This one is a game-changer. Wish I could give it 6 stars.
