Without being dramatic, these literally saved my 3 year olds life. She'd been vagely off for weeks, the GP said it was a virus, but suspecting a UTI, I decided to test her myself at home. If I hadn't caught her high glucose and ketones in her urine that evening, we could have lost her. She was 24/48 hours from a life threatening situation due to exceptionally high blood sugar & ketones. Not only do test strips like these help you look for UTI symptoms, which is why I bought them (and incidentally, they did successfully diagnosis a UTI in myself), but they are priceless for screening for early (or in our case, late) diabetes because they pick up glucose and ketones too.
