SubPac M2 SM2US01 Bluetooth Wearable Tactile Bass Audio System

I absolutely love this. I’m a music lover and a gadget geek so when I saw the Subpac M2 advertised on FB I had to have it! I left it a while before getting one and I’m glad I did as I managed to get it for just under £100 cheaper than anywhere else (not from Amazon)! So it was a bargain! But straight away I hit a road block, the U.K. charging lead was missing (the Subpac comes with different leads for different countries). I contacted Subpac via Twitter and was given the name of their U.K. rep who hooked me up quickly with the missing parts. Getting it to work properly was a little hit and miss. Because of the way it works it can easily be broken...it’s it pretty much a sub woofer you wear in your back so like any other speaker it can be blown. So when I first got it I made sure to read the instruction manual throughly! And I found that when connecting it via Bluetooth or cable I would need to turn the device (phone/iPod) up to maximum volume before I got any kind of intensity/feeling from the Subpac.. but this meant the volume of the music was extremely loud and pretty much made my ears bleed!!! So I worked out if I got a mini headphone amp i could avoid going deaf, get the intensity I desired and avoid destroying my Subpac! I have recently added a Bluetooth Transmitter (you can only connect it to ONE bluetooth device) to my set up as I wanted to use wireless earbuds, but would still need to use a mini headphone amp...and it works an absolute treat! Wearing this is like taking the party with you wherever you go! I tend to use it mainly when I’m cycling. From the second I put it on and press play, I just wanna dance. I can’t explain it exactly but it’s like being at a concert/party where you’re right next to a speaker and the sound is just resonating throughout your whole body! Talk about feeling the music! If you love music...loud music, this is for for you! Getting it to sit just right right against your back can take some time, but once you find that sweet spot...there’s nothing else like it! Would I recommend it...? WITHOUT A DOUBT!!! Definitely a 5 star product and if you have any issues Subpac will definitely do what they can to resolve any issues, they DO look after their customers. There is also a wealth of info online (some of it is complete crap!) so you’re bound to find the answers you need if you’re stuck finding a solution for any issue you have. My plan is to also incorporate it into my gaming set up, mainly to use with VR/FPS/Driving games along with my Subpac S2. Once I’ve got it up and running I’ll update this review!

I've been rediscovering all my favourite tracks, watching films again and playing Xbox with a whole new added dimension. Absolutely love it, if you're in any doubt just buy it, about 4hrs after mine came I ordered an S2. Every day I'm looking forward to using it, admittedly it's only a week-ish in... But I can't see this being a fad that I go off, more that I'll start to expect the "concert for one" feel whenever there's an experience that includes sound. A few of the videos I watched on YouTube are a little over the top and you'll need to spend about 10mins playing until you feel entirely justified in spending the money. But then, I'm tempted to say it's life changing... Cinema experience at home, music that feels like it's rocking the gaff without neighbours kicking down you're door, and gaming that almost feels like you're really firing the gun, that door has closed behind you or the atmospheric music climaxes to really pull you in.

Genial si quieres sentir el bajo con la intensidad de estar en un club o concierto, pero sin el volumen tan alto. Yo lo uso para mezclar y producir música electrónica.

Da ich ein "Basshead" bin und wie der Name schon sagt sehr auf Bass, insbesondere tiefen Bass, stehe, habe ich mir nach längerem Überlegen den Subpac M2 gekauft. Verpackung/Verarbeitung: Schon beim auspacken merkt man die Qualität die in diesem Ding steckt. Alles ist sauber und schön verarbeitet und alles fühlt sich wertig an. Da hat man direkt die Erleichterung keine 400€ für etwas billiges ausgegeben zu haben. Design: Der Subpac M2 sieht schon genial aus muss man sagen. Das Design ist einfach meiner Meinung nach perfekt. Er sieht aus wie ein futuristisches Gadget und ist dabei auch noch relativ klein, sodass man ihn auch relativ unbemerkt unter eine Pullover o.ä tragen kann. Feeling/Bass: Jetzt kommt der Teil auf den es am Meisten ankommt: Der Bass und wie es sich im Endeffekt anfühlt. Und hier punktet der Subpac M2 wie nichts anderes. Die Musik bekommt durch den Subpac eine "neue" Dimension und besonders Bass dominierte Lieder werden mit ihm zum Erlebnis. Ich weiß ehrlich gesagt nicht wie ich es beschreiben soll. Ich für meinen Teil habe endlich den lang erhofften Druck, den ich mir seit Jahren wünsche bekommen. Endlich geht da wirklich was ab wenn der Bass unterhalb der 30Hz Grenze kommt. Es geht sogar so weit, dass ich die Vibrationen in den Zähnen, im Kopf und auch sonst überall spüren kann. Sogar die Sicht wird getrübt, wenn der Bass richtig einsetzt. Ich für meinen Teil liebe das einfach. Manchen wird es eventuell sogar zu viel sein. Akkulaufzeit: Der Akku sollte für jeden komplett ausreichen. Ich kann mit dem Subpac an 3/4 Tagen mehrere Stunden Musik hören ohne angst zu haben, dass er mir gleich aus geht. Das Aufladen dauert aber seine 2-3 Stunden. Aber da man den Subpac währenddessen benutzen kann ist das auch kein Problem. Was mir sonst noch aufgefallen ist: Eine sehr sehr gute Eigenschaft des Subpac ist, dass er genau umgekehrt zu einem Subwoofer eher bei höheren Frequenzen überlastet als bei tiefen. Da ich sowieso den tiefen "Subbass" liebe und den höheren Bass bei zu hoher Intensität eher als nervig empfinde, kommt mir das sehr gelegen. Da ich mein Smartphone grootet habe und Viper4Android (Eine sehr umfangreiche Equalizer App für Android) installiert habe, habe ich etwas rumprobiert und herausgefunden, dass man die tiefen Frequenzen noch um einiges höher pushen kann, solange man die höheren Frequenzen in Ruhe lässt, denn bei Bässen überhalb von ca. 80Hz blinkt die LED schnell mal rot, was bedeutet, dass es langsam zu viel für den Subpac wird. Wenn man so wie ich die tieferen Frequenzen erhöht, dann kann man sich auf ein extremes Abenteuer freuen, denn dadurch wird der ganze Körper so heftig zum vibrieren gebracht, dass man sich wie in Mitten eines Erdbebens fühlt. Aber wieso nur 4 Sterne? Nun, ich hatte zwei Subpacs bei mir Zuhause und beide hatten den selben Defekt. Die LED sollte normalerweise grün leuchten, wenn der Subpac voll geladen ist und gelb leuchten wenn der Akku fast leer ist. In meinem Fall haben die LED's bei keinem der beiden Fälle geleuchtet. Ich wusste also nie, wann der Subpac fertig geladen war und konnte ihn somit nicht perfekt vom Stromnetz trennen um den Akku zu schonen und ich wusste außerdem nicht, wann der Subpac leer ist und so hat er sich einfach irgendwann mittendrin ausgeschaltet. Eigentlich ganz simple Fehler, aber trotzdem schade meine beiden Exemplare eben diese aufwiesen und ich sie aus diesem Grund retournieren musste. Gibt es noch negatives? Was mich persönlich etwas gestört hat, war die Intensität der LED, die ja permanent leuchtet. Die LED ist so hell, dass ich nachts das Licht nicht einmal einschalten muss um mich zurecht zu finden. Für den Akku sollte dass ganze auch nicht optimal sein. Dazu ist die Bluetooth Funktion meiner Meinung nach nutzlos, da einfach viel zu viele Hintergrundgeräusche auftauchen. Sowas macht den Musikgenuss einfach kaputt.

J'ai constaté lors de ma commande qu'il y avait un modèle d'occasion à 359 € et deux modèles neufs à 389 €. J'ai bien commander un modèle neuf et j'ai reçu un modèle d'occasion ( traces de doigts sur la télécommande, pas de petit cache en carton sur la prise européenne et attaché à la va-vite dans la boite... ) Je précise, article vendu et Expédié par Amazon Je ne commente pas le produit car je ne risque pas d'être objectif.

This is HANDS DOWN the best purchase I've made. I agree it's a little overpriced but it is really something an audiophile would value. Many use this for music production but I only use it for listening to my library of ever updating hardcore electronic music . I can't say enough about this product cause it's such a brilliant piece of equipment which makes me feel as if I'm reliving all my songs with a different, more complete experience. Glad to have bought it, I'm never getting out of my zone now!! B) PS: The only thing I was disappointed about was the courier service that Amazon chose to send this through, ARAMEX! They are by far the worst courier service providers I've had the chance to deal with, if you don't trust me then just google the number of complaints about them. They were the only downside to this order journey, this product is one of a kind.
