These Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep replacement filters arrive in their original Tommee Tippee box, with each filter individually wrapped and pre-sterilised. That is a big plus for a baby product, as it keeps everything hygienic and protected until you are ready to use it. They usually last around 3 months, and if you have the Tommee Tippee app, you can also check when the filter is due to be changed, which is really helpful and takes the guesswork out of it. The filter fits the Perfect Prep machine properly and is straightforward to change by following the instructions. Once fitted, the machine runs as expected, with no issues with water flow or setup. One important point worth mentioning is the cleaning process when replacing the filter or cleaning the machine. I’m not sure why the app doesn’t make this clear, because it is stated in the instructions manual, but the machine and relevant parts should first be washed with baby bottle cleaner before following the sanitizing steps, such as pouring in boiling water and running the cleaning cycle. This matters because washing removes residue and helps properly clean the machine, while the boiling-water process sanitizes it afterwards. Overall, these are convenient, hygienically packaged replacement filters that do exactly what they are supposed to do. For a product used in preparing baby bottles, using the genuine filters and following the full cleaning instructions gives extra peace of mind.

Long process of installing filters, not always successful first time. Instruction manual is written in small laters. Description of buttons and lights on the machine a mystery as on the machine you got only symbols. No idea which is which.
