Can the Arduino program be used with windows

It works just fine with Windows 10 too!

Can this be connected to internet? And is it capable of running a small webserver?

Depends what kind of web server you’re thinking if. If it’s to send data from the various sensors you’ve attached to it with a basic web service, then yes you can do that. But if you’re looking to serve larger webpages or more complex data, then yiu’d Probably want a Raspberry Pi. This kit includes an arduino, some common sensors and components plus software and projects to get you started and familiar with programming one of these devices. There are many examples of people having connected an Arduino to the net for various reasons, but there aren’t any projects in this kit that do that, and you’d need to get a Wi-fi module or Ethernet module to connect it to your network. I recommend getting one of Simon Monk’s books on arduino. They’ll teach you all you need to know and he has examples of connecting an Arduino to the Internet. I got his book plus this kit and it was a great combination.

Any recommendations on how to get the lcd display pins into the breadboard? don't wanna damage it, haha

Just carefully line the pins with the holes and push down gently and evenly. It does go.
