E-Audio 180 W 8-Inch 2-Way Ceiling Speaker - White

I was looking at spending £100 plus on ceiling speakers then thought let me try these. I was glad i did. Definately suprised by the sounds of these speakers. Quality is great and sit nice and snug to the ceiling. Bass wise i see now issues. Depends on the amp in my opinion. Cant go wrong a defo buy! Delivered as expexted. Got a party soon which will fully test the durability! Have used for last two months no issues.

Sound is good, however if your looking for any Bass do not buy these are good quality ceiling speakers with good sound but not for a thump thump sound

Quality not suitable for home cinema use unless you are not fussy. I tried using these on an Onkyo system but the results were disappointing. The bass is lacking and the treble is not very refined. I wouldn't say they are harsh just lacking in detail. I replaced them with B&W in ceiling speakers and these sound amazing. The difference is substantial. I now have the e-audio speakers fitted in the conservatory connected to a cheap Sony amp and they sound OK. They are good value if you just want back ground sound.

For the price, these speakers are amazing. They are extremely loud and have a good bass. I purchased 4 of these and 2 yamaha ones at the same time. The Yamaha ones were £100+ but the sound is only slightly better with a little mire definition. The e-audio speakers however were much easier to fit, look much better (as they are white not off white) and were better made in that they have an enclosed back. Pack loads of insulation around the speakers to get the best base sound out of them. I would definitely recommend these.

They are ok speakers for a low budget system or if using as additional. I use them for the the top middle in my atmos system and they do well but honestly they could be cheaper as not worth for that price. Dont expect high quality.

Used these speakers for the overhead atmosphere sound, and simply wow is the result. I installed into a self made six inch stud frame drop, and screwed hardwood to the frame for easy access for adding and hiding cables, after moving all equipment from the viewing room to another room. I would recommend these speakers for the same as I did.

Don't let the size or specs of this speaker fool you. Due to the sealed unit design the bass response from this speaker is extremely lacking with a rather "tinny" sound. Also ensure your joists are sufficient as the height of the overall unit is quite substantial . I decided to not install these speakers and instead purchase an alternative model of EAudio speakers to match my kitchen. Miles better

Basically bought this to replace a set of Monitor Audio CT180s i had in my bathroom and kitchen as i'm selling the flat and doubt anyone would care or use the ceiling speakers after me. I know its an unfair comparison but good lord these speakers have no bass whatsoever and are very bright. Sounds from youtube etc.. sound ok though and its ok as a background speaker. Not terrible value for money if sound quality is not the top priority.
