We moved into a new house a couple of years ago where the previous owner clearly had had a lot of pictures nailed into the wall so we had little holes everywhere! After spending the last couple of years refurbishing the house (and filling up the holes!) we were a bit loathed to start putting nails into the wall when hanging our own pictures. A friend of ours told us about the picture hanging strips and they are brilliant! In every room of our house we have pictures of different shapes and sizes all attached to our wall with the picture hanging strips. We have since purchased a range of sizes, from small, medium to large depending on the size and weight of the picture we are hanging and to date not one of the pictures have fallen down. We have had some hanging over 2 years now and they are still secure. It is important to note that these strips are not to be used on a wallpapered or vinyl wall - they will come down eventually. The details also say they are not recommended for use with antiques, heirlooms or other valuable irreplaceable items. It is essential that you place the strips onto the wall in line with the instructions, for example, leave them for an hour before hanging up the picture which will ensure sufficient bonding of the strip to the wall. In addition, make sure you use the right sized strip for the size and weight of your picture. Apparently the small strips hold a weight of up to 1.8kg, the medium sized up to 5.4kg and the largest sized strips can hold a weight of up to 7.2kg. The command strips come in different packs, such as the small, medium or large, but they also come in an assorted pack too. The command strips are easy to remove too. If you pull downwards gently at the bottom and slowly peel them off they will come off the wall without marking the wall behind. They can only be used once though so if you do peel them off with a view to moving the picture elsewhere you will then need to use a new strip.

I just bought a new Dyson vacuum cleaner which has a charger bracket that you attach to the wall. I didn't want to put any screws in the wall so thought I'd give these a go. I stuck 3 to the back of the charger (2 at the top, one in the middle) and it works a treat. I heard the "pop" sound and so far so good! They're very easy to attach and as others have said, they do not leave a mess on the wall if you find you have put them in the wrong place. The vacuum cleaner I bought wasn't the lightest either but it hasn't fallen down yet! I've put something underneath it just incase though.......

Ive used these for over 10 years. My first purchase was to stick the baby camera on the wall. These were perfect because they still allowed me to detach the camera and reattach when going away and needing to take the camera with us. I still think the first ones we use are still in use today. Last few years ive used them hang up pictures in varying sizes and they have never failed me.

Command makes my life so much better. Living in university halls we're not allowed damaging our walls at all and this is the perfect answer to that problem. Now my huge world-map can hang on my wall and make me happy, fuss-free! It's been up for 3 months so far and hasn't budged. I also use some of the other Command strips for other things (fairy lights and white-boards) and they're very secure. Also, when removed, granted you follow the instructions and do it carefully (pull in the direction the strip naturally goes, against the wall rather than towards you) they don't leave any marks at all, not even a small bit of sticky residue! I had some up for a month that I took down. Not sure if it's the same after a year, but I imagine so. get 'em! Also bear in mind these work in sets of two, so for a large picture you will need all 4 sets (paying attention to the weight limits!)

The best. I have now lived in two different places using them and they are fantastic. I tried purchasing sub brands and it was not worth it. They leave no marks on the wall, carry a good amount of weight and stick to the wall easily.

Hold items well without damaging the paintwork.

I'm using these for LED strips and they work pretty well. One of them came loose but i think that was more to do with there being paint on the back of the strip from where I removed them before, so I had to buy a second pack. Not sure how I'd feel hanging pictures up with these but they do seem to be good quality and the velcro is very strong, easy to take off but requires enough force that I can see it holding up a frame

Honestly I hate how command hooks are kind of pricey ( they are to me at least). But they get the job done and they have been the most effective adhesion strips like these that I've used so far. I used this pack and cut them in half so I could hang up multiple lighter frames. Also extremely easy to use just have a level with you!

Lo he usado para colgar dos lienzos pequeños (40x40) y un cuadro de madera y poliespán (100x60). Todo perfecto y sin esfuerzo, aunque en este caso y a pesar del tamaño, los cuadros no pesaban demasiado. No sé cómo se comportarían con un cuadro que pese bastante como algo con cristal o metal, pero directamente tampoco me arriesgaría.

Command est une très bonne marque.Dans l'appartement précédent que je louais, j'ai risqué d'en mettre un peu partout, sur du plâtre comme sur du bois ou des armoires plaquées bois. J'y ai pendu des cadres de poids différents et 3 ans plus tard, ça n'a tout simplement laissé aucune trace lorsque je les ai enlevés. Bien sûr les collants sur les murs ne peuvent plus être réutilisés, mais ceux sur les cadres restent intacts et il suffit de remettre des nouveaux pour la partie mur. Ils sont aussi faciles à poser mais faites bien attention de coller rapidement sur le mur une fois le papier de l'autocollant enlevé car ça sèche assez vite.
