Ravenhead Glasses

I love these Piña Colada glasses. They're a fun shape for serving anything, be it soda or juice or just water. A nice little side benefit is if you're disabled and need a carer, the shape makes it much easier for somebody else to control the glass, and getting water all over your face hardly happens. Some other reviewers expressed disappointment with the durability, as they apparently broke just going through the dishwasher. I've washed them at least 100 times at this point, and my dishwasher isn't tall enough so I have to angle it on the little rack in the top drawer, and sometimes the base brushes against the door seal more than I would like. And they haven't broken at all! So I'm reasonably sure that the people who had durability issues probably had a glass with a manufacturing defect, such as a microcrack or small bubble or somesuch, and that the glass was very weak in a specific area and needed only jostling about by water jets to get set off. And if that is the case, it does raise some questions about Ravenhead's QC process, but when the glasses are made properly as mine are, they seem just as durable as any other glass in my collection. I have had other glasses break by being pushed against the door seal as these sometimes have, so these are stronger than some solid looking ones I used to own.

These are for us the perfect hurricane glasses for a range of cocktails. They resist a certain amount of clumsy handling and survive being washed in a dishwasher without problems. We use these glasses for numerous longer cocktails especially during summer when we can enjoy a drink outside in the evening. I can’t think of anything negative to add, if you enjoy a longer drink these offer space for that plus plenty of ice. Ideal for the job.

I'd been looking for a set of these cocktail glasses for ages and was happy to find these; so I decided to buy 4. They were well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. They're a nice size and were just what I was looking for to serve home made juices in. I haven't used them very much since I got them, but unfortunately I noticed a hairline crack in one I had just hand washed. The glass doesn't appear to be thin or cheap, so I was a little surprised by this. Just a word of caution: be very careful when washing them by hand. Thankfully they're not as expensive as other brands, so it won't break the bank to replace it.

Made of thick glass so feels very good quality (compared to our other cocktail glasses from ikea) Holds more liquid than i expected so can make lots of long drinks, or fill with ice like they do in proper cocktail places

Ravenhead cocktail glasses, carefully boxed and securely wrapped, were delivered promptly, even ahead of time, which was a nice surprise. These items are of traditional design, elegant, pleasant to hold, intended for all sorts of cocktails, especially - tropical. Also, they could be used as a vase for flowers with short stems.

Lovely glasses, very thick at the base, nice weight, really good glasses and great for the price. Highly recommend

Con l'arrivo dell'estate i cocktails diventano il mio chiodo fisso....quindi è obbligatorio avere anche i bicchieri adeguati per servirli! Con questi bicchieri uragano, di buonissima fattura,resistenti e lavabili in lavastoviglie, adesso so dove preparare i miei cocktail preferiti tra cui Pina Colada e Hawaian Blu che non sarebbero perfetti in un bicchiere diverso.....! Acquisto assolutamente consigliato per i cultisti del genere! BUON DRINK A TUTTI! :)

Des jolis verres vraiment. Grand et de bonne qualité. Fait son effet auprès des invités. Reçu en bon état. Je trouve le prix correct.

Nice glass but a bit big for easy holding. Overall good quality but if size was a bit small then it would have been better.

We had a super party with people who usually break a lot of glasses. These fell and stayed in one piece! ;-)
