Does what it says.
I had this recommended to me by an artist. She wasn’t wrong, it’s great. Before I had this I would go over the bits I wanted to be white with either gouache or gesso but, this works much better. No bleed through with this, just as it says.

Works great!
First time using this. Currently learning watercolour paints and needed an opaque white that could be used over existing paint. This is definitely up to the task, 100% coverage but can be watered down if needed a lovely crisp white, very effective

Perfect for black lines touch ups
I’ve been using it for years, and it’s the perfect white to cover any mishap with your line art. And should you leave the pot opened by mistake, and it dries, a few drops of water, and it’s good to go again. Honestly a great product for artist.

Best white for coverage!
For years I have struggled with a variety of white markers, acrylic paints etc., to use for highlighting my work, and in every case the colour underneath will bleed through, even after the application of a fixative. This paint is truly opaque. It is also quite thick and stands being diluted if you wish. You can blend it out for subtle highlights as in my photo of print-outs of a small drawing I have done, which I then coloured with Distress Oxide inks and Tombow Dual Brush markers (all water-based). Using a fine brush, it went on really smoothly. It has no smell. I have not yet tried it for lettering but am sure I will not be disappointed. For mixed media work, this paint is going to be essential, and always to hand! It is quite expensive, but you get what you pay for - a top quality product. There is also sufficient quantity to keep me going for a long time. Highly recommended.

Lovely for white splashes!
Great ink, when slightly watered down, for white splashes on a painting. Also works well using a rigger ( long, thin, very flexible paint brush) for fine white lines, outlines etc. Can be used with metal embossing tools for dots. Very bright white, takes a while to dry, but very effective.

This is, without a doubt, is a wonderful addition to my world of watercolor! It has a thick rich consistency and is easily thinned with water. It is opaque out of the bottle and stays a bright white even when dry. When thinned it can used to produce the effect of smoke, clouds, mist, etc. I also wanted to say a big "Thank You!" to Dr. Ph. Martin for the packing of this product. It is such a disappointment when you order art supplies online only to receive them damaged--bent bristles, a pad of paper with a damaged corner, etc. The care in packaging for this glass jar was stellar--great product that came ready to use!

Alles in allem: klare Empfehlung!
