What is the rounded edge for

The 90 degree is so you can remove what you've just applied and start again if you've made a mistake. Not much use in my opinion as I've never come across a bath or shower tray at 90 degrees to the wall. They are designed to have a slight angle so that any water runs into the bath or shower and not pool on the rim.

What is the 90 degree angle for

Bought this item quite a while ago now. If I remember I didn't find it much use. Supposed to help with a better finish with the sealant but I ended up using my finger!! Sorry couldn't be more help.

What will this do that an old club/bank card won't do when it comes to sealing?

It’s much more sturdy than a back card. This enables you to fill the gap fully

What is that little hole for at the 90 degrees angle?

I use the hole to hang it up with a piece of wire after cleaning it.
