Original review: I just installed this battery in my first generation UE Boom and it seems to be ok. The battery doesn’t last as long as the original battery when it was new, but it is acceptable for now. One area of concern is the charging pattern. It will take a long time to charge when it’s below or around 10% until it reaches 70% charge and after that it charges very quickly. This is a red flag to me. Also, the installation in 1st gen UE Boom is not easy. To do it properly, you’ll need to take apart the speaker, which involves desoldering the Bluetooth antenna board. The pin connectors to the Bluetooth antenna are very thin and weak and I snapped one of them and had to use a wire instead when I reassembled the speaker.
