**Q: What would I need to connect this to half inch grey pvc conduit?**
A: Adapter with 1 female end for gluing to rigid pvc conduit and other end female threaded to receive the threaded whip end. Carlon and Cantex make such a connectors.

**Q: Is this stranded wire**
A: Yes it is stranded.

**Q: Can a forth 10 AWG wire fit in the conduit?**
A: Yes - plenty of room and well within % fill for code

**Q: Can this be used indoor to hook up a water heater timer?**
A: It's meant for a 30 amp circuit, so yes, there's plenty of juice carrying capacity for just a timer.

These whips are strong, heavy, seal up tight and come with plenty of extra wire at both ends to hook up pretty much anything. As an added bonus they coil up nicely making it easy to get a clean professional look. I used three to hook up new mini split heat pumps at my house. They fit standard knock outs and the securing nuts are bent down slightly to keep them from loosening over time. They each come with one straight end and one 90 degree end. The ends tighten down with just a couple of turns so even if you do the 90 degree last it's still pretty easy to get it snuggled and sealed. I am completely satisfied with these.
