Review: Top quality and high performance flex panel - As I’m finding myself buying more and more into EcoFlow products, I thought giving their flexi panel a go and as you can see in the glory autumn morning sunshine 25th Nov! it still managed consistent 71w (without adjusting to 90 degree) Most importantly, performance: As you can see from the screen shots, it pumped out very respectable 71w (managed to get 78 when adjusting position) and later on remain in 60w range even at the end of Nov! I’ll believe it can reach high 90w in summer time. Obviously not performed long term use result but will come back later on should anything arisen and potentially update during summer / next year etc. Build quality wise: Will not call out others but this gorgeous panel is really well build. The quality of materials from cable to junction box to silicon glue used and even to the back panel plate as opposed to a sticker for product info! You are buying into EcoFlow’s same premium build quality here too. If you happened to own other panels bought from desertcart you will immediately find the difference, the attention to details are second to none, even the new type of quick release MC4 connector making life much easier swapping them around. Size wise: It does have more generous “gap / margin” from actual solar cells to the edge so if your space is limited would need to take this into consideration. It has very good length cables definitely helps if you want to glue/fix it and runs the cables away. Flexi: It can bend good curve but I didn’t try very hard or intend for curve surface but the solar cells feel soft enough won’t easily break (but again I didn’t try impact testing, yet). In summary, I have a few different brands’ flexi panels, never mix brands but EcoFlow’s 100w is by far the best build quality one, everything is top notch as their products. Install was easy, I’ve installed mine on a lean too south facing. Since install we have had 2 weeks of rain rain rain, and yes they are producing electric around 100-300watts/hr on dark days. I’m very happy with support they have been quick to answer any questions sent in by email within 12 hrs. I will say any shadow on the solar panel then you have reduced power so be mindful if you have a tree or something that could cast a shadow on the panels, as this kit comes with two panels and two inputs on the inviter if one panel does have a shadow on the other panel isn’t effected. I have seen the power generated up in the mid 750watts in full sun so can’t wait to see what it produces in the summer. Watching through several YouTube videos, I came to the conclusion that actually minimum two of these panels are required to charge effectively. You would also need XT60 Connector with cable that connects the panel to your station. If you buy two panels then you would need Y Branch Parallel Connector to connect both panels. You would possibly need extension cable as well, as I'm assuming you want to place the panes somewhere outside and used the station somewhere inside. These are not included in the package, but you can buy all of these from Amazon. If you don't require extra lightweight portability, you may consider the rigid panel(s). This is what I did. Those are more durable and have longer lifespan, but obviously much heavier than their flexible fellow. Hope this helps Ferenc **Q: Anyone else struggled with the mc4 connectors? Voila.... this baby fits inside the car and props up behind the rear view mirror..... River sits on the floor well and charges away happily....
