TR Industrial 600 lb. Trailer Winch

I was disappointed when I opened it, it is small. Purchased to replace a 2 way ratcheting boat winch that quit working and that I never liked. No reason for a 2 way ratcheting winch on a boat unless your unloading a huge boat on a very step landing. So I wanted a single ratcheting winch that's why I bought this one. They make bigger ones but thought this 600lb one is what I needed, if I had to go back would have purchased bigger 1 way rachet winch from somewhere else being this company only offers bigger 2 way winch. But all I use my winch for is holding boat while in transport. I only winch my boat a foot are less each trip being I pull my boat all the way on trailer useing my motor. I got this winch installed on a aluminum boat trailer, 16ft boat with 60horse outboard. I put 15ft 2inch strap on with no issue, I spilt strap inserted one end trough hole in side of winch tide knot in it and winched it up with no issue . Being a Ole country boy I know how to make things work. .....winch is small but seems well built works great and I feel will be just fine on my boat. Only disappoint is on my part ordering a winch to small for my liking but 5 stars cause it will work and it seems to be a good winch.

Mounted two winches on two fence posts to crank up and down one 24 foot by 24 foot pool sunshade. Winch has locking clamp when ratcheting cable up and release latch for lowering cable..black in color and sturdy.would have liked the handle to be shorter.while mounted on fence post my fist kept hitting fence. Good product.

Replaced the stock trailer winch after only 1/2 a season, as the construction of the factory winch was total crap. The stock winch strap retainer was bending and nearly sheered, and the gears are stacked (riveted stamped layers) of junk metal that were already separating. This one is painted (which is fine for me) and the gears are one piece solid versions. The spool allowed for a larger bolt for the strap retainer, and the bushings are neatly installed and snug. No slop and great operation. This is a superior winch to the stock junk found on many stock boat trailers.

Used 3 of these to build a sail shade for my yard. They help me easily raise and lower shade by myself. Has lasted well through tough winters in Colorado.

I have bought four of them and I use them to raise tarpaulins at my summer bungalow. As I said above they are quite heavy and rugged. They have an ratchet as you wind in the rope or wire but they don't have a brake so be careful unwinding under load.

works great, I use it to raise and lower my 100lb punching bag in the garage with ease. The lock and winch feel very secure but I also put a board under it for added security

Used this as a winch to raise and lower bikes from the ceiling in my garage. It works great and is cheaper than other options. Make sure its anchored to something sturdy when mounting it.

A good quality solid hand winch for my motorcycle, Yamaha TW 200. I won’t be able to try it out until the spring time, but it sure looks like it’ll do the job. It will serve several purposes. I added the two 5/16 inch aluminum base plates with five stainless steel bolts. I will use this to help me load my motorcycle on my truck and to pull it out if it gets stuck in the mud or in the bush. The rope will attach to a tree and I will use this to suspend my tarp in front of the bike.
