It works great, it stops in seconds

This stuff is worth having on hand. I like it better than a styptic pencil, as it seems more sanitary than rubbing what amounts to a piece of chalk over a bleeding cut. These containers are quite small, smaller than I anticipated, but I don't use it quickly at all, so I guess that's OK. If you have razor burn/ bumps, rubbing some of this on right after shaving seems to diminish the irritation.

My grandfather taught me the importance of having styptic powder if you have hunting dogs. This large bottle lets me put a small bag in my truck, hunting jacket, backpack, etc and still have plenty back home. My German Short Hair Pointer ran through a barbed wire fence during a recent pheasant hunt. When she went on point I noticed she was bleeding from a long gash on her hip. I broke out he bag of styptic powder and stopped the bleeding immediately. Great price for a large bottle of important first aid. Won't go hunting without it!

Styptic powder. Works the way it should, stops "leaks". Be advised that no matter which container you buy, it may say for humans or animals, it's the same product either way. Very large container (compared to a styptic pencil) and one container will last a very long time, unless you're a poor shaver.

So, normally I don't care what a products labeling looks like. But the product description reads for nosebleeds and shaving cuts. It clearly shows HUMAN USE and says nothing about animals. The product I received specifically says it is for animals. It could very well be the same ingredients, but I'm not comfortable using something that is specifically listed for animal use only.
