12 oz Amber Glass Beer Bottles for Home Brewing with Flip Caps, Case of 9

Great for Kombucha. Probably great for beer, too. Good product.

Bottles were shipped with care with a layer of bubble wrap as well as cardboard dividers, and all arrived intact and perfectly assembled with no faults or blemishes in the glass. These glasses are very thick and will hold up quite a bit better than a standard beer bottle, especially to prevent against explosions from potential over-carbonation. The bottles use plastic for their caps instead of ceramic, which is another bonus as plastic is much less likely to break over time. Also included is an extra set of stoppers, although not identical to the original ones that are shipped on the bottles which lack a hole in the center. The bottles close very tightly, so they seem like they will hold a seal very well when I put them to use. These bottles will definitely be my first in mind should I ever need another set.

Great product

My first time homebrewing ... I got stuck thinking I'd just buy Grolsch bottles and 'empty' them myself. Apparently, Grolsch stopped selling their beer in the flip top bottles and now sells its 12 packs in capped bottles. I found a few singles with the flip top but those were $4 each. It looked like I'd have to do the unthinkable and buy 9 EMPTY bottles for more than the cost of a full 12 pack!! I read reviews on a bottle capper. It seemed to be the cheaper option and wouldn't require cleaning ... but reviews said this was difficult to do without breaking a few bottles. The beer I made cost around $40 per gallon all-in ... plus many hours of work, so 2 lost bottles would be a big deal. I read reviews and really wanted different colour bottles. I wanted blue and green. There were other brands which offered those options but the reviews on those indicated that there was a lot of breakage in shipping. Though 12 bottles of those brands were actually cheaper than 9 Yeboda bottles, I went with Yeboda because I needed to bottle ASAP. Unfortunately, I ordered these on Thursday night which meant they would take 4-5 days to arrive, even with Amazon Prime. They arrived in 4 days and not one bottle was broken. I did not like how their is a Yeboda logo printed on each cap. That was not shown and honestly I wouldn't have ordered if I knew. One star off. The bottles seem to seal well. I have 2-3 weeks of conditioning in the bottle after the step where you add sugar to make carbonation. I am on week #2 but its colder in my house due to chilly spring temperatures, so it might be another week or two before I can open them. They include 9 extra seals, so my guess is they wear out quick. I will probably try capping my next batch with bottle caps to compare and contrast. Washing these seems like a chore and if the seals fail, the beer is ruined ... so when do you change the seals? Overall these worked. The bottles are thick and sturdy feeling. They look like typical beer bottles. I would like coloured versions and no logos on the cap.

About these bottles for my daughter, and she absolutely loves them. Also very good price. I would buy these again when they come on sale.

Pretty color and great for fall decorations

As others have pointed out, these are a perfect size to fit in my refrigerator on all shelves. Sure, 16 oz. ones will fit in many places in my fridge, but these fit everywhere, plus I didn't want more than 12 oz at a time for my drinking. For me all the tops seem to work well. Yes, the company contacted me to give a review, so I did. Of course, they did not offer anything for a good or bad review, but it did remind me that at the time I received these, I thought about buying another set right away before trying them. A couple of days ago, after now using them, they were unavailable, but today, they are. WOOT! Buying another set right now!

Seem to be good bottles. I haven't put any under pressure yet. They are smaller than I thought, but that is on me.

Ordered two cases of these bottles and they are exactly what I was looking for. Well packaged, undamaged and when opened they appear to be great quality. Only issue - one of the cases only had 8 bottles in it for some reason. Not the end of the world, just a bit odd.
