It took us a time or two playing and re-reading the instructions as we went to truly understand the differences from the original but it's a fun take on the normal Splendor game. The quality of the game pieces are very good just like the original - the coins are very solid and the cards are thick enough to be easily damaged. It's a little pricey but based on the quality it's worth it knowing it will last.
