Fix your noisy fan
The intermittent ticking sound is caused by the tiny gaps between the blade iron and the motor body. This is usually an indication of loose blades. You can call a professional or fix it yourself. Steps: 1. Use a correctly sized screwdriver. The tip should be as wide as the screw head. 2. Use moderate force but fully tighten the screw until it stops rotating. Be careful not to use too much force as it may damage the internal threads (aluminium). 3. Do the same for all the screws. Now switch on the fan and the noise should have gone.
