Can I use to directly transfer files from old Win 10 to new Win 11 laptop?

If you are talking about connecting one laptop to another laptop/computer, I would err on the side of caution. I do not believe this cable is suitable as it looks like A to A. I use it to power fans. It may connect a lone external Hard drive to a laptop. If you connect it to 2 laptops at the same time they will both try and power each other which could cause damage. Usually for this type of connection you would need a bridged/ “usb networking cable”. These will contain additional circuitry to prevent damage. I would advise looking for something under that description, Amazon has plenty! Hope this helps!

Try in the app for defective cable, then either you will mail back the old one and get a new one, or they tell you to keep that one and send a new one over, since its defective from manufacture.

There are 5 different types of USB connectors; A, B, B-Mini, B-Micro and C. Your machine and Laptop may not be 'A'. Also, the Ruaeoda cable has a clear plastic protective end on it which you may not have noticed, it has to be removed.
