I bought these boots after a pair of my Merrell hiking shoes had finally died It took me weeks of research, if I'm honest, maybe longer to make a decision. I mean, there is a lot out there. So why did I pull the trigger on these? 1. It is highly rated among several outdoor blogs and reviewers. The company makes quality products and has for a long time. 2. they are comfortable and waterproof. they a bit heavy but fine for meas I walk daily about 35-50mins and I hike once per week in the UK, so peak district, yotkshire dales and the boots have been perfect. I did struggle with the arch in the boot my first time wearing them as i needed to adjust, but after that 5hour hike I was fine lol. So, if your arch is sensitive, like my wife's, I would recommend either the Time or Scarpa boot. 3.
