A Fantastic Entry Deck
I picked up this deck and was pleasantly surprised by how approachable it is for newcomers. The ready-to-play 100-card deck lets you jump straight into games without needing to build or fuss over complex interactions. Here’s what really stands out: The theme (Green-White tokens) is super intuitive: create creatures, grow them, and overwhelm your opponents. Great for learning the flow of the game. It includes helpful accessories and guidance: a reference card, strategy insert, tokens, and a deck box all help smooth the learning curve. The build quality and value are excellent. You get a lot for the cost, and it feels like a well-packaged introduction to the format. It works beautifully both for casual play with friends and as a stepping stone into deeper gameplay/background, because the mechanics are solid but not overwhelming. If you’re new to Commander, new to the game in general, or looking for a fun, easy-to-learn deck to hand off to a friend, this is a superb choice. It hits the sweet-spot of easy setup + satisfying gameplay. Highly recommended!

Dude. WHAT.
This pre-con SLAPS. Like a lot of other reviews say, this is a surprisingly simple deck to play so it's great for first-timers. --or people with ADHD who can struggle with triggers/upkeep and remembering things--I feel you. D: Unsolicited advice for my ADHD MTGers: I place my cards from Left to Right by importance or order of operation that grants me the most and quickly read them in that order right before every turn. If I just KNOW I'll forget something, I mark it with a sparkly die or a lil tiny figure/whatever I have in my pocket/tiny piece of rock candy that comes in tiny packages that I have a few of in my travel kit-- to catch my eye. Sometimes, if it's a gamechanger, I'll put my finger on it until it's my turn. Legit sit there pointing at my card during 4+ other player's turns :P Hey, whatever works. There just isn't a ton of triggers or reading during upkeep for this pre-con, though. It's VERY helpful to have +/+ tokens or dice because like.. every. single. card. beefs up dudes you have that fly and every creature in this deck has flying!!! One card even boosts EVERY flying card *at the table*! It was an emotional rollercoaster last night against TWO zombie decks that were getting quite scary and I busted out that "All creatures with flying get +2/+0, All creatures without flying get -2/-0" We referred to their 18 x +0/+1 stack of zombies "fence posts" because they were useless afterward. Quick recovery after board wipes. Commander is 2 colorless, 2 white, 2 blue to play (yeesh) so it can get quite expensive to keep pulling out in a ruthless group but I always seem to have a ton of lands on the board, so it ain't no thang in the end. Plenty of card draw and +life right out the box. I usually have +10 more life than everyone early in game--last night I had 48 life when everyone was at 35-40 in first few rounds. Plenty of "nope" cards (with some hilarious flavor text) that saved my butt last night. 10/10 a fun, easy peasy pre-con and for the price, it's def worth adding to your collection!

Great for any beginner and casual play!
Giving it a 5 start because this is a great Started commander deck to give to friends or family to play magic. You can find the card list online, so you won't be shocked about what cards you're getting. Definitely not for competitive play, more for a casual setting with friends. If you're ever looking to get into commander with some casual friends or getting into it 100% think any of the starter commander decks are a great start into you planeswalking journey. All cards were there and in good condition.

Token deck
Great start to a green and white deck. My first deck and if you swap a a few cards, it’s even effective.

Great beginner Commander deck!
This is an excellent beginner Commander deck to learn on. I'm teaching my 13 year old son to play Magic and this deck plays really well against much more expensive and complex decks. It has some helpful abilities and triggers to make it competitive but no wall of text cards that make it difficult for him to wrap his head around. He's won against my wife and I a couple times playing upgraded precons.

A good starter deck for trying out Commander.
My roommate and an old friend from high school recently started playing MTG Commander at the local card shops, and invited me to join. I didn't have any Magic cards. I had a standard white life gain deck well over a decade ago that likely got lost in a move which I built back in the '00s. But I really hadn't played since then. My roommate suggested MTG Arena to get reacquainted with the game. This deck is really focused on having creatures with Flying. It has some which can create flying tokens, but I think most, if not all, creatures in the deck have flying. I'd recommend going with the secondary commander, Kangee Sky Warden as it's a lower cost. I'd also recommend getting white/blue combination lands and enchantments that can produce lands. It's also good to have a couple cards that can give your creatures Flying as there are times when an opponent will clip your wings and TURN YOUR COMMANDER INTO A PIG! Having the Flying attribute is important as most creatures give buffs to other creatures on the battlefield with Flying. In summary, this deck is a good start for beginners looking to learn Commander, and if you end up enjoying white/blue, you can customize it and make it your own.

Relatively new to mtg and I wanted to get a starter commander deck in preparation to play in person as I’ve been playing arena quite a bit and this is brilliant. Not played it just yet but I’m happy with the price and all the cards are great for someone just introduced to the world and mechanics of magic. Definitely recommend to new players looking for a good introduction that’s understandable and at a budget price point.
