Fit for purpose, but does not fit when you have a computer has a protective sleeve on the notebook.
I like the device, but I cannot use it with the protective sleeve on my Surface Go.

Looked genuine, however after a day the headphone port stopped working and the USB socket can’t keep up with the mouse I had plugged in. Would not recommend this.
