**Q: Extra pieces?  My wife got me this set but somehow it's missing a pawn.**
A: Mine came complete.The only extra piece is a queen for both colors.If you reach out to customer care they should give you the missing piece.

A: Don’t think it would to the point of being unusable, mine hasn’t and I bought it for my 4 year old. 3rd graders should know better than to fold it I imagine…

A: No.The pieces are slipped around inside the rolled mat
