A: I didn’t bore a hole, I left a space between the block to allow the flange to pass through

**Q: what is the length of the shaft?**
A: The shaft is 2-1/2 inches. Total length is 3-3/4 inches.

It sure took some pressure to turn the valve for the first time. Don’t give up!

### ⭐ Mismatch parts

Outer shroud and key do not match the valve. The shroud thread is larger than 3/4”, probably is 1”, therefore it won’t fit. The square key is larger than the valve and wont open the valve. Now I need to buy more parts
