If you're on a tight budget, these binoculars might be what you're looking for. The 12x magnification of this compact and light weight binoculars generally fits my needs while working as a security professional for regular general use. Plus, they don't take up too much real estate in my back pack which makes them readily accessible for immediate use. I also like the durable outer rubber coating which seems to hold up to any short drops and bumps. They're definitely NOT perfect. I was disappointed with the cheap nylon string style neck strap that came with the binoculars. Also, I wish it came with lens covers. If you do not have a legitimate need for a pair of expensive high quality specialized binoculars but only need something that performs satisfactorily for regular use that won't kill your budget, these just might meet your needs.

Yes.I got the package.All i can say.These binoculars are sweet,smooth,easy to hold.Really nice.The fact that they are fog proof,waterproof.It sure is a game changer with this great tasco company.My girlfriend has a 10 power and i have a 12 power.Her binoculars are a little bigger.Mine are smaller.Can you imagine the improvement tasco has made with binoculars.Wow! They fit easily into a field jacket pocket, don’t fog up and have a good field of view. They have pretty good night vision. I’m very pleased with this product.

Great for keeping in the truck or hiking. Small, lightweight and the optics are good. With 12 power and the small front lenses, the field of view is limited of course, but certainly more than usable for birding or general observation. Not good for night viewing unless looking at objects that are lighted. But then, they weren't designed for that. Because of the low price versus optical quality and convenience, I gave them five stars.

This Tasco product is not good. I would actually say its a waste of your money to buy these binoculars....I purchased these and a set of Bostionye at the same time and the Bostionye's are much clearer for about the same money.....both were 12x42 and believe me there is a big difference in clearity. Shame on Tasco for putting out this kind of junk.

Not as good as my old pair made in Japan. (20 years old!) Bought these for greater magnification. The focus has huge backlash in the gears. They carry well in the cargo shorts pocket though. Just not thrilled with the light transmission of these lenses, or the focus ability.
