Might I suggest calling the Corp customer service, I believe the number is on the package. I called last summer & they were very helpful. I have started using another product after using this for decades. Lastly was it exposed to extreme heat or sun light ? I'm not sure how protein helps rebuild anything, but it does make the nail hold up better when applied.
