That's what I bought it for. Turns out the music is quite pleasant too :)

I’ve been a Taylor Swift fan since the early days and the Midnights album is another gem in the Taylor Swift library. Each song as its own story and melody which everyone would enjoy and love. My current ringtone is Bejewelled. Thank you, Taylor for your music!

This is a brilliant album but it came in just the cardboard envelope and was shoved through the door very aggressively while I was in the house, to answer the door. The cover shattered and I had to buy a new cover.

Auch dieses Album hat - wie es für Taylor Swift typisch ist - ein Gesamtkonzept, das Taylor Swift als „13 schlaflose Nächte" beschreibt. Jeder Song ist aus einer anderen Phase ihres Lebens und thematisiert das, was Taylor Swift zu diesem Zeitpunkt beschäftigt hat. Ich finde da Konzept ganz toll und teilweise kann man allein anhand der Produktion Rückschlüsse daraus ziehen, um welche Zeit das Konzept eines Songs in etwa entstanden ist. Auch in diesem Album zeigt Taylor Swift, wie tiefgründig die Inhalte ihrer Musik sein kann. Im Gegensatz zu den Alben Folklore und Evermore sind die Songs mehr Upbeat, was an 1989 erinnert. Diese Kombi mag ich sehr: tiefgründige Texte, die teils auch schmerzhafte Aspekte des Lebens aufgreifen gepaart mit Musik, die ein gutes Gefühl auslöst. Ich finde, das Album ist absolut gelungen und wird trotz der Anerkennung, die es bekommt, immer noch unterschätzt. Es ist ein Must-Have!
