Sounds quality is great. I wasn't expecting to get that quality of sound for this price. This is the replacement for our garage system since we work on projects a lot. It is still running my tiny 21 year old speakers so quality is measured by output max which is displayed on the screen and clarity for speaker allowance but we are sitting in the negative to low range on output to speakers so that means if I upgrade the speakers I will add to the volume as well as base. Very simple to bluetooth connect as the device is always visible for pairing. Took me 30 seconds to connect my device and it did indeed allow my phone to go across the house without disruption. Yep I forgot my phone was I my pocket, but when I went inside to the back of the house my husband said there was zero interruption. No lag time (under 0.5 sec) to switching songs or volume from phone. The remote is so convient as our last reciever was a 30 year old hand me down and the remote was lost years prior. We can now turn it on while sitting at the work bench and link to our phone to start playing without leaving the work area. I love that the antenna is attached (so it's not lost if disconnected) and we can listen to radio if we want without attaching a wire that has to be hung on the wall. (Very rare but nice to have the option) Overall I would purchase again because the quality and price are perfect. Even the build quality is advanced for this price. The connections are twist not insert which gives a solid connection. No scratches, bent uneven corners or seams either. Nice amount of breathing holes to keep air circulation so I do not anticipate any overheating. This summer it will be put to the test as we live in N central CA so we see alit of 105-115° days and summer is May-Oct.

Easy to use good quality for the price

***Update 5/16/24*** After slightly less than 1 year, the receiver has quit working. I have reached out to Pyle's Support and received one follow up email asking for details about the issue I am having, however after 5 days, they still have not responded to my follow up. I would not buy anything else from Pyle based on this interaction, and plan to not purchase any more of their products if they fail to respond and resolve my issue. A warranty is no good if the company refuses to respond to issues. *** So far I'm very happy with this receiver! It was easy to setup and the sound is fantastic. The Tuner quickly picked up the local stations and it is easy to select the station after the programming saved them. I have a Google Chromecast audio connected to an input and it sounds great.

Unit did not work, buttons did not function, very low volume, unit emitted strange pulsing tones regardless of sound source selected, buttons that were supposed to be used to select EQ, etc. were making the volume raise and lower, definitely a faulty circuit somewhere. Disappointed.

What do you buy for your dad's 79th birthday? This was a perfect choice for the pool area as my husband lounged there all summer. I suggested this receiver to my kids as a present for their dad. It's great, sounds wonderful, the controls are easy to see and use. We hooked it up easily to outdoor speakers. The man loves it!

I've been in the market for a new garage radio to replace my old 90s radio I'd been running. This unit might work for some but it didn't for me. The sound was good but admittedly I'm not much of an audiophile. The things I couldn't live with had to do function. I'm a big fan of over the air radio. I thought with the remote I could preset my favorite stations. If there is a way, couldn't figure it out. It would scan through the channels and auto assign a number. So if I wanted to listen to 99.9 I would have to type 16 into the remote, and try to memorise the other stations assigned numbers, or keep scrolling through presets. If you hit the wrong button on the remote like the play/pause button it would do a station scan again. Another thing that I didn't like is when you shut the unit off with the remote it didn't actually shut the unit off, more like a sleep mode. Unless I shut it off with the power button on the unit there would be soft static feedback through the speakers when it was shut off (with the remote). Which brings me to my next dislike. Whenever I shut the reciever off and turned it back on it would default to input cd/DVD. I would have to scroll through the inputs to get back to the radio. When I would get back to the radio it would be on a random station not the one I left off on. Another feature I was looking for was bluetooth. I have a monitor in the garage with a firestick. Sometimes I'll have games on while I work on stuff. When I connected the receiver to the firestick via Bluetooth the firestick recognized it as head phones intead of speaker. I would have to crank the volume way up just to here it. Any way I sent this one back and found a reciever that works the way I want. Like I said this one may work for some I just wanted to point out reasons I didn't like it in case others were looking at it for similar reasons.
