I really like this brand of shears. They are sharp, well balanced and cut like butter. They are just as good as my $600 pair. They are not sharp enough for slide cutting but I dont do that anyways. I have a razor for that. Definitely recommend

The shears are great. They are comfortable in the hands and they are sharp. The finger holes can be small for smaller hands. I wouldn’t recommend these shears if you have thicker fingers. My hands are small and not too thick. They fit just right. I can see an issue where your finger can get stuck with these. I like the texturizing shear as well but it can feel thick in the hands. Not as slim of a profile like how some other shears can be such as jaguar thinning shears. Excellent quality overall for the price!

As a professional stylist I was impressed by the smoothness and sharpness of this shear. They are a little heavier than I expected but a decent shears for the low cost.

Pro: -Surprisingly well made. -Extremely sharp. (All three of the pairs I bought were sharp enough to cut skin with light touch.) -Made as well as multi hundred dollar Japanese made scissors. (Hollow ground—concave-facing surfaces with highly polished convex shaped cross section exterior) -Smooth and effortless cutting action. Con: -No pivot bearing; simple tensioning screw (not as long-lasting as high end multi hundred $ Japanese scissors) -Made of less expensive and softer 440C stainless steel frequently used in surgical instruments -Won’t hold an edge as long as harder, forged steels such as high cobalt VG-10 found in multi hundred Japanese scissors -These won’t hold up to 10 times/day use All this means that they’re well made, very sharp, smooth cutting scissors perfectly suited for occasional home use or as a backup pair for professional use.

I took a chance on these because professional hair cutting scissors can be several hundred dollars. These are surprisingly sharp, cut my finger already! Hopefully they will remain sharp for a while...so far, I'm very happy with them and glad I purchased! I'm a professional cosmetologist and will be using these on about 50 haircuts a week! They are very comfortable to hold and a great size!

I did the real test before cutting someone hair. I have a license, but not doing it for a living anymore. Used a wet bathroom tissue, it cuts like expensive sheers. Was great for haircut. I recommend.

5 year review. I used these the other day for a haircut and was thinking to myself "these have held up great and we have had them for a long time, I should review them"; so here I am. These scissors have held up great with normal use. We use them about once a week and they still cut really well. This size is perfect for my wife. I can still use them but you may want a slightly larger size for a man.

Very sharp, cut hair very well. Good quality.

Opened the packaging and snipped the air a few times, blade caught on itself and dented itself. Now it catches on a dent when you try to snip with the scissors. Poor quality
