And even though the book cover is in full color, the inside is simply black & white. The photographs are...some are decent grayscale and others look like they were taken on an ancient smartphone. I expected more from the printed book. Hence, Buyer Beware - you may be better off with the Kindle Edition assuming the author created a FULL COLOR Kindle version.The book content itself - outstanding. I REPEAT. OUTSTANDING. This is an excellent handbook even though its only 160pages. Mr. Sweeney clearly shares not only a Subject Matter Expert knowledge base and experience/expertise level, but also shares practical functional expertise. Reading this book changed my entire perception and understanding of silencers (suppressors, or whatever you may call them). Despite the quality of the printed book, in the end, this was money very well spent. LET ME REPEAT - THIS BOOK IS MONEY VERY WELL SPENT. The cost for a Suppressor is not a miscellaneous cost - it's an investment. This book in my opinion will save a lot of time, money, and effort by avoiding nearly all of the common & not-so-common mistakes & pitfalls that many will make when selecting and purchasing a suppressor, plus avoid damaging a suppressor due to misuse/abuse, improper installation, and/or incorrect choice.Is it worth the $14.97 spent (paper book)? While I'm not happy about the paper version, the knowledge is worth it. Is it worth the $10.95 Kindle Edition? ABSOLUTELY YES.EDITED 03/17/2018: I should have mentioned in the original review that I was considering fabricating my own silencers (as in professional grade) since I do have metal machining experience/expertise. Mr. Sweeney's book convinced me that there is a LOT more Art & Science and R&D behind this than I'm maybe willing to do.
