Is this mouse good for someone with large hands? Or is it too small?

I wear a men's small glove and found it annoyingly large. It's bigger and square-er than a standard wired mouse. I guess it depends if you like your whole hand to rest on the mouse or not - I prefer to have the side of my hand on the table, not on the mouse, and I can't really do that with this one.

Will my macbook recognize the bt connection without plugging in the usb dongle?

I have not tried it, but I do not think Macbook recognizes it without a dongle.

Can you replace the rechargeable battery?

If you're willing to take it apart, yes. You have to take off the slider pads to access the screws though, so you need to be careful, and it's not a good idea if you don't know what you're doing. Once you open the mouse the battery can be easily removed and replaced. Otherwise, if you don't know what you're doing disassembling electronics, no it's not replaceable.

What battery needs to be included inside the mouse

There is a built-in rechargeable battery, it's not something that you have to change. The battery/mouse is charged via an included cable which plugs into a USB port on your computer.
