It actually works!
This may sound mushy but, I have an Ebike that uses battery packs of 10s x 4-5p configuration. (nothing to do with PlayStation). I’m into building my own packs and have tried and returned several charger and tester’s. All claims to balance packs. Non work with 18650 cells in parallel except this one. My packs are arranged in 5 cells series. I’ve used this tester for several weeks now with out a single error. I charge a pack then balance. This tester brings a 20 cell pack to within .30 volts every time and has auto shut off. Operation is simple, plug in pack, press “type” to select battery type, or press “type” again & hold till it beeps. Come back later it’s done. Easy. THIS IS IMPORTANT!!! NOTE! It seems there are 2 versions of this tester and they look exactly the same. Difference is V1 doesn’t balance V2 does balance. You must read the description. Scroll down to where it says Display and look for the instructions to “balance” For the price it’s priceless.

Works for my 100ah Lipo Solar Setup
I just wanted a voltage meter with 4 positions. This so far is within .02-.03 accurate compared to the Victron MPPT solar controller and battery remote sensor. So instead of guessing if 13.1 or 13.2 per se I can see clearly 13.17 vs my old 3 digit readout guessing if it is higher or lower. I am not relying on SOC readings. Also the unit I just got today 9/4/24 is NOT backlit. Which for me is fine. My wifi-camera reads it clearly when I am not there. So I can "tune in" and check my volts at least remotely. I also have the fridge and 5k BTU A/C units on remote wifi outlets with timers. But at least if I "tune in" and notice super low volts I can remote turn-off those items as well.

It works but is missing alarm function.
This cellmeter works but is missing the low voltage and voltage difference alarms found in the higher price brands.
