Water Filter Replacement Compatible with Berkey, BB9-2 Filters

These work in my gravity water filter. Water is filtered but not flavored. Easy to install and lasting quality. The speed of the filtering is quite good, I use 4 sets and that speeds the flow. Because it’s easy to install it’s also easy to clean, that’s a plus. We like clean. The second filter (white) removes heavy metals, etc. you can use just the black, but white filter is a good idea.

The filters working well in our Berkey, the cost was less then brand name filters, and once again the clean water is flowing freely! FYI we did need to soak the ceramic filters before we used them, there was an odor when we didn't!

As expected

The black filters for the top work great. The white filters that filter fluoride for the bottle never ran clean. I prepared them and ran 8 full Bins of water and it was STILL milky white and chalky. White fluoride filters are waste of money in my opinion. Also note; you filter fluoride with aluminum. The black filter should technically filter aluminum only to run through a fluoride filter that will add aluminum back. So it's a matter of 'pick you poison'. 🤔

It is well worth subscribing to receive these functionally identical flouride/arsenic filters with charcoal pre-filters, which would otherwise cost twice what these filters cost. I have been using the Berkey (and testing my water) for years, and I am happy to find these filters to keep going with.

We have been using these filters for almost one year and the water tastes great. I’m just wondering if it leaves the good natural minerals in the water? And is there some type of test that can find these minerals?

Look like the real thing, install like the real thing but the first use I was curious why they filtered so quickly. My original authentic Berkey filters took some time to filter. Water poured through these incredibly fast, it made me concerned. Initially though the water tasted great. The tap water in my area is horrible and it seemed like they were doing a great job. WIthin a week I noticed the water tasted off. The next day it was horrible - the kind of smell where water was left in a plastic sports bottle too long. The white filters were slimey to touch. The water smelled off. I've never had the problem with bacteria or slime in my berkey ever before. Very disappointed! These were too good to be true at this price. Moral of the story - if you want a quick one time filter for a weekend or event, the price is great. For long term use, I won't true them again. --------- UPDATE --------- Company responded to my review with a private message stating that the issue was User Error. These filters work great but we'll see how long they last but so far I'm happy with them

Works the same as the original filters but so much less expensive! Worth every penny

Water tastes great. Bought these as a back up

I have been using Big Berky Water Filters, these filters are cheaper but they do not do it's job as the Original Berky Filter would do. I won't recommend these over real filters!!!
