Luminous Holy Family Statue

This statue is much larger than I was expecting--7.5 inches. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I thought it was gonna be a piece to put on my nightstand rather than on a larger shelf. It is a nice heavyweight plastic, and seems durable, considering that it shipped in a box with zero packing material. I don't know if there is some variation, but mine definitely has a strong glow in a dark room after minimal charging. I think the $26 price tag is a little high. For a hollow plastic statue, I would expect to pay $13-15, so maybe the price is actually a LOT high. But it is a nice statue and I am pleased with it overall.

The statue it self is nice. I like that it is the holy family rather than a newborn baby it is more of a young Jesus. The color and feel of the statue reminds me of glow-in-the-dark items. Sort of an opaque greenish hue. That color does not say "luminous" to me unless it actually glows after being "charged" in the light. I was disappointed that it does not glow. It is just that color of plastic. I think a different color would be better since it does not glow. Even solid white would be better in my opinion and live up to the "luminous" description of the title better.
