Love this product! Purchased this when we were in the UK - and am so glad that it is available thru amazon! The entire Strepsils line of lozenges are soothing and effective without bitter after-taste or artificial color residual. It was a "lifesaver"!

It works for my flu sore throat, can relief the pain by 50%. But I would need to brush my teeth after having it before going to sleep

The taste is excellent, and the flavor is great. What's more, it can relieve my sore throat. If you have a dry, cracked throat, it can help alleviate the "cracking sensation". Of course, if you want a permanent solution, you should still see a doctor.

I caught a cold and with that cold came a painful sore throat these strepsils do soothe it but not on their own. I had one and it helped a little and then I had two strepsils more hours apart and my throat was starting to fight back and got a bit more sore. So I had a big tub of vanilla ice cream after I had my third strepsil and it seemed to work really well then. The icecream soothed the temperature and the numbed the pain while the strepsil fought the infection. Soo yes they do work and great at helping fight the infection but I honestly would say they don't work well enough on their own. icy cold water and plain vanilla ice cream help in-between. The taste of the strepsil is quite strong. And the numbing of the strepsil is not enough if your throat is really sore or hot. But I am happy with the results. I had sore throat for up to two days before these strepsils arrived and then I took these strepsils before bedtime and my sore throat was gone by morning. I'm just waiting on my cold to go now. I think the price is okay considering it's a 24 pack. I would buy this product again.
