Cadbury Mini Eggs: The Perfect Easter Treat
I love Easter as I get to enjoy the wonderful chocolates that come with it. One of my favourites are the Cadbury Mini Eggs which I always look forward to at this time of year. The only issue I have with the little shell-covered chocolate is once the pack is opened, I cannot seem to stop eating them. So delicious, and so very addictive. Note: Unfortunately, I have received yet more old stock from Amazon. The two Cadbury Mini Eggs packs I received recently had the exact same Best Before dates (31/07/2023 - see image) as those purchased from my local supermarket in late March last year. Luckily, I found a forgotten pack during a recent clear-out from last year which confirmed this. It's not just the Cadbury Mini Eggs, the Thorntons Continental Collection that I purchased at Christmas, plus countless other (chocolate and non-chocolate, even multivitamin) items have had very poor Best Before dates due to being old stock. Although reported many times, this issue really needs looking into and resolving as the prices charged for most of these items are no different than those found in my local supermarket. I don't mind the odd item having a short Best Before date, but to receive many items (some with just 2-3 months shelf life) is unacceptable - I've even stopped purchasing some items as a result with the Cadbury Mini Eggs now being one of them. Should you receive any short-dated items, contact customer service as the more times this issue is reported, the more chance of it being resolved, hopefully. :) I've deducted one star from the rating because of the above finding.
