The Morganville Vampires, Volume 4

Volume 4...Fade OUT..AND..Kiss Of Death.....OK let me take a minute to rest and grab a breath....WOW....the action never ever stops...it keeps goin and goin and etc....Claire is still a butt kicking tiny little human who has the love of Shane a (HAWT!!!)butt kicking protector of any innocent and Eve the butt kicking Goth who is loved by Michael (HAWT!!HAWT!!)a good Vampire amongst so many mean asses.... These four are in some kind of fighting, running, kiss my back side , unimaginable circumstances constantly....you don't even want to put the book down to go potty....Love this series, love the characters, love the storyline, love ..love...You will be exhausted trying to keep up with the constant page turning surprises around every corner.....AND of course I am still in LOVE with Myrnin and Vampire Bunny Slippers and Pirate Boots...LOL You have to read this series....it is the best...Rachel Caine is a genious...

Thank you so much for these amazing books. What I say here won't do the books justice. I only learned a few days ago I'm just half way through the series, and you're STILL writing!!!!! I just finished Fade Out, and would you believe it, I left a few things a the bus stop while waiting for my son and some kid jogging or someone stole my cell phone, this book Volume 4 and a bodhi seed prayer beads from Tibet. I was able to get a new cell, re-ordered the same beads, and ended up requesting the books from the library; one at a time though as they don't have the volume set. However, I am still thrilled. The next book is on its way from the library. I'm patiently waiting!!!! There was a whole new twist in Fade Out by the end, as Amelie let Claire have her wrist free and chose to make all 4 of her friends "friends of Morganville in the archives" because she realized they work much better together than separate. And Ada, OMG!!! I'm looking forward to what this sexy foursome will do next! :-)

I was completetly amazed at the quality Morganville has had, not many series are able to hold a good ground to continue the storie in more than three or four books. It was everything I expected and more. Shane and Claire really steam up and become more intimate and serious about eachother. Eve and Michael must come to terms with who they are or have become and how this plays a big part in their relationship. Marinn is Marinn. But we do see some changes in Amelie which bring big surprises. Most of all new and old characters begin to stir up trouble for our four courages-outsider-heroes. I can't wait to read the others, specially since Morganville comes to an end this year its a great series but I need to know what happens!SOON!Love this series!!

This series is phenomenal! I could not put the book down. I really enjoy the story line and feel there is a lot of in depth character development and it keeps you enthralled.

I really love this series for a lot of reasons. The kids lives are really realistic (if you don't count the town full of raging vampires) in that they have everyday problems like everyone else. School, jobs, insecurities. I also really like that there is always consequences for their actions. It a series full of great characters. Each one strong in their own way and each book is a lot of fun. The Kiss of Death book wasn't my favorite of the series though. I started out a little slow and didn't really pick up to the normal Morganville action level until about 1/2 way through. The gang gets passes to go out of town so that Michael can record in Dallas. The beginning of the book was more about the teens emotions and insecurities, the action doesn't start until they leave town. It was alot of fun to see them out of their normal Morganville context and still finding trouble where ever they go! Only this group of kids could get into more trouble OUT of Morganville than they do IN it!! All in all, it was a good addition to the series, even if it did start out a little weak, and I'm as anxious as ever to see where the next book will take us.

Try Glass Houses 1st, because if you love the storyline & characters as much as I did, you'll want to buy the 1st 8 volumes in a 4-book set of large paperbacks. Yesterday I ordered the next 6. You can also read each 1 separately on Kindle, but they are so good, you'll want a copy on your shelves.
