Brilliant bit of kit!
I did my homework, checked out a bunch of brands, but in the end, I went with Hangsun massager. The unit is powerful enough to deliver a deep tissue. Massager without any problems and it its very nicely balanced in the hand when being used. I can got options too - different speeds. The tension was released. So many attachments for different problems . You get a lot of heads to choose from so its versatile and works for different parts of your body. This is a sturdy piece of kit. The changeable heads all do a different style of massage. All of them are easily changeable, I often get sore muscles, and this massager relieves them almost instantly. The long handle is a huge convenience, I don’t have to bend over or overstretch to reach an area I need a massage. And the power cord is long enough that I can get a great massage just on my sofa. Can’t believe I didn’t find this sooner. Some may say it’s heavy but rather that than be flimsy. I can use it on my shoulder blades and my arms don't get tired holding it up, that is a HUGE benefit for me. Easy to massage your own shoulder which I could never do before. Overall would definitely recommend this product.. and not at all expensive.

Very nice just as good as My really old homedics massager !
Very good massager has very good power like my really old home medics massager, I recently ordered one of the newer home, medics and was very disappointed nowhere near the power as the old one and it shuts off twice every 15 minutes and then locks up till cool down, this hangsun is superior compared to new homedics massagers

Works well, but wish it were a bit stronger action
I bought this massager to replace a similar device that I had used for 20 years before it finally died. I've only used this one for a few days now, so I cannot say how long it will last. It provides substantial help with back pain as well as aches in my legs. My only complaint is that I wish that its pulse action of the massage heads was a bit stronger, which is why I gave it only 4 stars rather than 5. My old similar device provided about 50% stronger action than this one. When I read the reviews of all the pulsing massagers of this type listed on Amazon, this was a common complaint of all of them that the action was not strong enough. It has an adjustment for the speed of the pulse, but its highest setting is still what I'd call a medium intensity. This one costs more than similar ones on Amazon, but it seemed to have the most good reviews, so I bought it rather than ones costing 1/3 less, which had more complaints. If you have not used one of these type massagers before that have a pair of massage heads, they work differently from smaller massagers that vibrate. This type has a pair of balls about the size of a golf ball, which move in and out in a pulsing action unlike others that have a flat or round head that vibrates. The pair of pulsing heads are spaced perfectly for moving up and down your spine, so the balls massage the muscles on both sides of your spine without banging on the bone of the spine. If you don't have someone to do this for you, you can hang the device behind your back while holding its power cord with your hand behind your head. Using the power cord to raise and lower the device to massage the muscles on each side of your spine is very easy. Each morning I start off only able to lean forward a slight amount, but the weight of the device applies enough pressure to be effective, as I slowly raise and lower the massager in this manner. After a few minutes I'm gradually more able to bend forward as my back stiffness subsides so that I'm eventually able to bend and touch the floor. For aching calf muscles at the end of a day, the pair of pulsing massage heads are equally wonderful. I find this type pulse massager works much better on muscle aches than smaller devices that vibrate rather than pulse. This type pulse massager doesn't work for joint aches and stiffness such as knees and hands, and it is actually somewhat painful if it knocks against bony surfaces. I have another vibrating massager with a foam head that I use for my hands and knees. If you are confused by the difference between pulsing versus vibrating massager, the pulse type feel like someone is tapping their fingers rapidly and firmly against the skin, while a vibrating massager feels more like their fingers are moving back and forth rapidly in small motions. I have rheumatoid arthritis as well as chronic back pain for which I've tried just about every type of device, lotion, and potion for relief. For chronic back pain, this is a wonderful tool to help keep you able to move.

My Experience with the HANGSUN Corded Back Massager
I purchased this back in November 2025, and after three months of regular use, I wanted to share my honest thoughts. This is actually my second HANGSUN massager—I now own both the MG460 and MG400 models. My family and I are all into fitness, and we found ourselves waiting to use our first one. Getting a second unit was the perfect solution—no more waiting in line! Here are a few key takeaways from my experience: 1. The Corded Design is a Game-Changer This is the biggest advantage. I never have to worry about the battery dying mid-session. I've used cordless massage guns before, and their biggest flaw is losing power just when you need it most. There's nothing more frustrating than it shutting down on sore muscles, forcing you to wait hours for a recharge. With the MG460, I just plug it in and use it as long as I need—no interruptions. 2. Delivers Effective Full-Body Relief I lift weights regularly, with a focus on squats, so my back and legs take a beating. This massager does an excellent job hitting all those major muscle groups. After a tough workout, it really helps relieve tension and speeds up my recovery, so I feel ready for the next session. Whether it's my shoulders, calves, or lower back, the dual heads cover almost every area I need. 3. Weight & Handling – It's Just Right for Me I've seen some reviews mention it feels heavy. Out of curiosity, I weighed it—it's 2.3 lb (about 1.05 kg). Personally, I find the weight perfect. It feels solid and steady in hand without being fatiguing to use. Everyone's preference is different, but for me, it's well-balanced and effective. 4. MG460 vs. MG400 – A Note on the Difference In terms of performance, both models work equally well for me. The main differences are cosmetic: the MG460 has a smooth finish, while the MG400 has a more matte, textured feel. The colors are slightly different, too. It really comes down to which style you prefer—you can't go wrong with either. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this purchase. If you're looking for a reliable, powerful, and hassle-free percussion massager that you never have to charge, the HANGSUN corded massager is definitely worth considering.

Chronic pain sufferers look elsewhere..
This was a huge disappointment. I have been a sufferer of chronic pain for many years now. I use a, percussion massager daily, along with various other means of managing my pain. Over the decade+ of being an Amazon customer I have purchased a vast assortment massagers. Many of the cheaper, budget models suffer from the same exact problem. A problem that can become extremely dangerous! And this unit is no exception. The first problem is the low quality cords used. Cheaply made cords that use a very brittle copper wiring that easily frays from being bent. Combine that with the thin and weak PVC coating that also splits open, exposing the wiring(as seen in my photo), and you've got yourself a delightful potential for electrical shock or fire! I've seen this same problem developing on many budget massagers. Usually after several months of daily use... On this model however, the cable already began to split open in less than TWO Weeks of regular usage! On top of that, the unit became very noisy and the vibrations very rough and no longer soothing. This is caused by a combination of low quality bearings used on the motor, and the locking but on the motor's spindle coming loose. This is such a common issue with these budget massagers that I started buying new (and better quality) appliance cords and bearings and repairing them myself in order to keep them running for a few years. But with how fast this unit started to display these common problems, I decided to contact the seller and request a refund... Thats where things went downhill... At first I recieved a email promptly within 48hrs of contacting them. They offered to do "whatever it takes" to make me a satisfied customer, and offered to send me a replacement. I told them that I didn't want a, replacement because this thing is a piece of junk and the replacement would likely develop the same issue just a fast. And so I requested a refund... That was when they started completely ignoring my emails. I have emailed them 3 times since then over the last 3 weeks. I even went through the trouble of warning them about the dangers of these defects and sending pictures.... No response. Thankfully Amazon Customer Service was there to save the day and help me out. But I cannot recommend this item or its seller to anyone. Several years ago I, had gotten a, had burn on my leg from a similar percussion massager. The wires inside the cord had suddenly frayed, causing an electrical arc that very quickly burned through the outer sheath and injured me before the circuit breaker tripped and cut power to it. It was a horrible experience. The company that made the massager reached out to me, and after sending them pictures of the burnt unit and my injury, they were so concerned that they actually pulled that unit off the market and spent several months redesigning it with a safer, stronger cord. THAT is how a responsible company SHOULD respond to such dangerous defect in a product! However, that was not the case in dealing with the company that makes this one... UPDATE: The company finally contacted me back today. I'm not sure if they did because of my review or what, but supposedly they lost track of my emails due to some sort of "mistake" in the system. These things do happen from time to time I suppose. And they did apologize for the error and issued me a refund finally. My final word on this product is that if you are someone who just uses a percussion massager for a few minutes here and there when you've got achy muscles from exercising or a hard day at work, this thing might hold up for a few months and you might feel like you got your money's worth out of it. Also, the company does seem to honor their 1 year warranty, so if it does indeed break down, they will replace it for you. I'd advise you to keep an eye on the cord. If the PVC sheath starts to rip open, don't take any risks, contact the company and have them replace it. If you're someone in chronic pain who is looking for a durable percussion massager that you can get several hours of use each day out of, look elsewhere. And to be fair, most of these budget massagers in the $30-$80 price range found online are, at some point, going to end up giving you the exact same troubles with either the cord or the motor as I had with this one...(and over a dozen different brands and models I've tried over the past decade)

Affordable and Effective - Worth Every Penny
Let me get straight to the point: I've seen some overpriced massagers out there. But the hangsun handheld massager gives you top-notch quality without emptying your wallet. It's a win-win. Plus, the multiple speed settings and the generous 98-inch power cord make it super convenient. It's perfect for those who could use some relaxation in their life. The design is pretty darn good - it's easy to grip and maneuver. You can get to those hard-to-reach areas without feeling like a contortionist. The controls are straightforward, although I needed a couple of tries to get the hang of the different modes. A little clearer labeling could make it even more user-friendly. I've been giving it a workout for a few months now, and it hasn't even flinched. Quality materials, quality construction. It's rock solid and reliable, and that's crucial for a product like this. It's not the cheapest kid on the block, but the relief it dishes out is worth every penny. It's like a spa day in the palm of your hand, and I've found myself using it way more often than I expected. This handheld massager has seriously upgraded my self-care game. It's a must in my routine now. And also it's a thoughtful gift idea for anyone who could use some relaxation in their life. Don't get me wrong; it's not perfect. It's got its quirks like any other product. But for the price and the features, it's a solid deal.

A superior design compared to similar devices
I have used something like this many times. What I like about this one is that it is quieter. This one is more massage-like in movement rather than strictly a vibration. It also has a heavy duty workshop level power cord. I use these at bedtime. They help me to relax so the quality of rest is greater. When you fall asleep you never know what will happen with the massagers. The cord might get kinked or you might even roll over on the device. I appreciate the way this is built. It seems like it would last longer. Time will tell. BTW weight is a virtue. You need weight otherwise the massager bounces as it glides over bones. It also needs weight to sink into your muscles. If too light you have to apply pressure which is counter-productive when you need to be relaxing. This model has sufficient weight. I can rest it on my back as I am laying down and it does most of the work on its own. I just position it, adjust it and move it around to various spots. So far I am very pleased with everything about it.
