If terminal contact with other batteries is really a concern, use a piece of scotch tape to cover an end. It's not a big deal. You can call to see if they have the same program at your Home Depot. **Q: Why do you say battery ends should not touch? Do they catch fire or something?** A: It is possible that a conductive material that touches the battery terminals could cause a short circuit and fire.
