Fantastic for Postpartum Care
I bought this while I was in the hospital, but after vaginal delivery of my son. It was delivered the day after I got home and has been perfect to help relieve discomfort after a 2nd degree tear. It’s easy to set up and the disposable option is perfect for a new mom needing something easy and effective that doesn’t require clean up. Highly recommend.

Works as advertised...
I cannot understand any negative reviews...did they read the directions? This saves so much time! And it is so convenient - especially compared to the old "sitz bath" where you had to fill up your damn tub and put in a half box of Epsom Salts. You can put this on the toilet seat in about 30 seconds. Put in the packet of salts provided. Put in enough LUKE WARM water and sit in it and read a book or play pool on your smartphone for 15 minutes. Loosen the tabs, dump the water in the toilet, throw the thing away. 6 packets and plastic seats in a box. It works marvelously.

Very useful!
I had surgery. Used these as part of my post op care. Glad I did that first week. Then migrated to the bathtub. Bit pricey tho for plastic. Beats having to clean a hard plastic one.

Just okay
It’s better than nothing if you’re in a pinch, I guess that’s what it’s designed for. If you’re at home just buy a plastic one that you can use over and over again- WAY easier. I’m left contemplating what’s harder and/or more embarrassing- walking my post-surgical *ss into a public restroom carrying a full size plastic butt bath, or trying to set this thing up in a stall. First, and know this before you go into the stall with all your supplies- there’s no tear strip on the packaging so you’ll be in there clawing at the loud, crinkly packaging like i was, panicking that your mug of hot water is getting cold. The packaging is so loud! Pair that with the jug of water you’re going to need to fill this thing to a level you can actually get your *ss into, and there’s nothing discreet about this process. Your success rate will be directly correlated with the shape of said public toilet seat. If you have one of those oblong ones with the opening at the front (90% of all public toilets), good luck. The shape makes it almost too narrow to submerge any portion of your anatomy. I’m small and I almost couldn’t get my cheeks wet. At $5/each these are pretty pricey. But a good solution if you have no other option.

Works perfectly and so great for travel
Works perfectly and so great for travel! The package is a folded up plastic sheet and a packet of epson salts in a baggie . Can fit in a pocket! The sitz bath is a heavy weight, bowl shaped, plastic sheet with tapes at four edges to tape it to the toilet seat. Easily taped down and was secure even when filled 3/4 with water. Bowl was fine for hot water (skin hot temperature). I used it in an airport bathroom and it was a lifesaver, after a long, overnight flight with a 6 hour airport layover before my next flight. I got hot water by buying a cup of tea minus the tea bag and took it into the bathroom. I also got some tap water in a bottle to mix with the hot water in the sitz bath bowl to nake it the right temperature.(hot for skin). IT was so great to be able to do a sitz bath in a public bathroom after sitting for a long flight.

Excellent solution for travel sitz bath
A great solution if you need to sitz bath while traveling. I used it on several different toilet styles without issue. Packaging is compact, thoughtful and discreet, and it's easy to set up and clean up. I am a large person and had wondered if it was going to be big enough to accommodate... but I had absolutely no issues and it worked well. The only negative thing I could say is the adhesive used to apply the sitz bath did leave a little bit of residue on the toilet seat sometimes, but this wasn't really a problem. I used a touch of rubbing alcohol and it picked it right up. I am grateful to have found this because when you need to sitz bath you really need to sitz bath ;-)

Dirty
This product had pieces of fuzz all over it. Not very hygienic. Amazon sent me a replacement, but it also had pieces of fuzz all over it.

Very easy to use
Got this for my mom as we waited for an upcoming doctor appt 3 weeks out. It helped her so much. Her bottom was raw from frequent wiping due to excessive bowel movements. It easily fits on the toilet and is very sanitary. Highly recommend.
