It is double walled which holds the heat in and prevents your hand from getting scalded when holding it. It also holds a lot of liquid and the infusing process is very easy. I have been using it for the past year without any issue, with cleaning being very easy. The slits on the infuser cup are very small but does allow a few tiny tea particles to go through to the main cup but it's not a big issue. I love the fact that the cover acts as a holder for the infuser part when you're drinking from the cup, to prevent spillage. This is useful in cases where you are brewing loose tea leaves which can be reused for multiple brews.
