A Living Soul (B)

Seriously. This is an extremely interesting, funny, visionary book, written by one of Sweden's very best authors, who is also a medical doctor by training.

to read for the rest of my life it would be this one! I've read it so many times and it never get's boring, this book has everything and P.C Jersild is one of my favourite authors. There is so much to think and feel about in this and all of his books but Living soul is P.C Jersilds masterpiece in my opinion. A must read!

I read both the original (Swedish) and English translations. The book is compelling and thought provoking. At the same time the English translation manages to be a light and easy read. All will enjoy this book, from the sci-fi reader to the existentialist to the causal "I just read the latest New York Times best seller" reader. There is something here for everyone.
