Huge cotton fabric Lord GANESH Wall Hanging Tapestry. A Great Wall Hanging for YOGA Class Rooms or Centers to Bring Wisdom and Wealth. It measures approximately 30" High X 43" Wide. Manufactured by New Age Imports, Inc. GANESH is god of knowledge and the remover of obstacles is also the older son of Lord Shiva. Lord Ganesha is also called Vinayak (knowledgeable) or Vighneshwer (god to remove obstacles). He is worshiped, or at least remembered, in the beginning of any auspicious performance for blessings and auspiciousness. He has four hands, elephant's head and a big belly. His vehicle is a tiny mouse. In his hands he carries a rope (to carry devotees to the truth), an axe (to cut devotees' attachments), and a sweet dessert ball -laddoo- (to reward devotees for spiritual activity). His fourth hand's palm is always extended to bless people. A unique combination of his elephant-like head and a quick moving tiny mouse vehicle represents tremendous wisdom, intelligence, and presence of mind.

Review: This embodies my idea and the ethic of Ganesha and Mooshika - This is a $10 "tapestry." Be realistic in your expectations. For $10, I think that this is fantastic. It looks like something I would have bought off a street vendor if I was on a trip and I freaking LOVE it! It also has the little mouse which is very important to me. I love the gold sequins and the way the fabric is dyed. This is for my workshop so it's going to eventually be covered in sawdust and metal dust, so for my use, this is wonderful!
Review: Perfectly Imperfect (It's a good review) - It's so pretty! It's nice and big and has golden sequence sewn onto it. It is thin, but I never expected it to be thicker. I mean, seriously, It's pretty cheap. The edges are a little frayed, but it's a really quick fix if it bothers me that much. It gives it a cool unrefined look. Plus, it came earlier than I expected it to. I haven't even gotten the desertcart Email saying my package has been delivered. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing, but I got it. I'm going to have to iron it though. So bottom line, yes, it's not perfect. The edges are unrefined and it's thin and creased. However, It's big, pretty, shiny, and it's what I expected to get for the price. It sounds like this isn't a very good review, but I really do like it. I never write reviews, (I'm sure you've heard that one before) so it must've done something to make me write one. Right?

A: The broken tusk serves many purposes. It serves as a stylus enabling Ganesha to write the epic Mahabharata for Vyasa. It also serves as a weapon enabling Ganesha to strike down the moon who laughed on seeing him ride a mouse. It also serves as a staff on which he rests his arms and meditates.

**Q: Could this be used as a sarong?**
A: It’s 29 x 40” or thereabouts, so unless you have a tiny waist, I’d say no, not for use as a sarong.

**Q: Is this washable?**
A: This is a thin cloth with a print on one side. It has also some (very few) shining flat beads. Now to your question : yes, the clth is washable but if you wash it the print might fade and might get some wrinkle. I have this product since past two years. I put that on a wall and have never need to wash it.

This is a $10 "tapestry." Be realistic in your expectations. For $10, I think that this is fantastic. It looks like something I would have bought off a street vendor if I was on a trip and I freaking LOVE it! It also has the little mouse which is very important to me. This is a very nice thin printed cotton tapestry. Please don't think you are getting a woven cloth with an image intertwined/woven in the fabric. This is a very thin black silkscreen with sequin details. It is very pretty. I have ordered several tapestries from this seller before and they have all been wonderful. I'm not so exited about this Ganesh tapestry though. Although it's nice it is not of the same quality that I have received from this seller before. I have gotten a Shiva, Laxmi and others and they have exquisite. This one not so much. The image is not as crisp and the material is thinner than the others-if that's possible-they are already tissue paper thin. But for the price it's still a great deal. Ganesh is my favorite deity, so I guess I should spend a little more money on my next one. Don't get me wrong, this is a wonderful piece and the price can't be beat. Just not up to the standards of the other pieces that the seller offers. Great item, fantastic price and very quick shipping from India. Good job!
