Worked great for me
Best tool I ever purchased! I replaced the doorknobs and hinges in my house and the drill was stripping the screws and I couldn't get them out. This worked great and the light makes it so easy to see what your doing. The handle is adjustable which is helpful to get in right spots. Torque is just the right speed. Good quality for money. Big win for the type of jobs I do around the house.

Quality
Love this item. We have had one for years and use it all the time. Our son is constantly borrowing it, so we got him one of his own. It is durable, holds a charge, so much quicker and handier than a regular screwdriver.

A Compact Powerhouse for Everyday Tasks
A Compact Powerhouse for Everyday Tasks This cordless screwdriver has become my go-to tool for all sorts of light-duty projects around the house. Its compact size and lightweight design make it incredibly easy to handle, and it's far less intimidating than a full-sized drill. The pivoting handle is a game-changer, allowing me to get into tight spaces and work at awkward angles with ease. The built-in LED light is surprisingly bright and perfectly positioned to illuminate exactly where I'm working, which has been invaluable for tasks under cabinets or in dimly lit corners. I've used it for assembling furniture, tightening loose screws on various fixtures, and even for some light craft projects. The battery life has been impressive; it holds a charge for a long time and I've yet to have it die on me mid-project. It doesn't have the raw power of a heavy-duty drill, but for its intended purpose of driving screws, it has more than enough torque. It comes with a basic charger and two bits, which is perfect for getting started. Bottom Line: This is an excellent, affordable, and versatile tool for the average homeowner. It's perfect for assembly tasks, quick fixes, and any job where a full-sized drill is overkill. The LED light and pivoting handle are standout features that add real value. Highly recommended for DIYers.

Mostly Better Than The Old Version
I have one of the prior models of the similar B&D screwdriver. Thought it wouldn't take a charge, but just found out I didn't have the power strip turned on, so now I have both the old and new to compare. The flashlight is definitely a plus and I find myself using it more often than I thought. It has a push button to turn it on; push again for off. It doesn't activate with the trigger like my electric drill does. One thing I'm surprised at is that the build quality actually seems better than the old version. Almost feels like nylon impregnated housing instead of cheap plastic. The new version has an auto shaft lock. Much better than having to lock it manually on the old one. I always thought the old "all-in-one" activation button was a bit awkward, but the new set-up is awkward in a different way. Using the old screwdriver straight, it was more natural to grip it tightly and use your thumb to activate it. The new set-up requires you to use your fingers, where you're gripping it, to activate it. This prevents you from holding it firmly. However, if you bend it into the pistol configuration, the new trigger control is much better. In contrast, I almost never used the old one in the bent configuration because it was very awkward to use that way. The power connector is some odd non-standard connector and isn't even the same as the prior model of the same screwdriver. Not sure why there is no standardization here. There is a red light on it that comes on when it is charging. One more power adapter on my workbench... The torque is very good. I think better than the old model. You're more likely to strip the head of a phillips screw than you are to lack the power to turn it. Battery life seems good. Have used it quite a bit and haven't had to recharge it yet. I do wish it came with a double ended bit (slotted/phillips) instead of the two separate bits that this comes with. It was always handy to have both available all the time by just turning it around.. Overall it is an improvement over the prior model and I would buy it again.

Perfect battery screwdriver
This Black and Decker screwdriver works great for smaller light use. Used to remove and reattach door hinges and cabinet hardware. The light is a nice bonus. Use instead of my 20v drills.

I used this screw driver to build this cabinet
I owned a Black & Decker electric screw driver but it stopped holding a full charge and was too weak (it was old and worn out) So i decided to buy this NEW electric screw driver and i love it, it's close to perfect. I thought my package was stolen, instead of waiting i ordered a 2nd replacement electric screw driver. Next day, my package (that i thought was stolen) arrived.....So this is why i ended up with 2 of these screw drivers which worked out for me because.... CHECK OUT THE PHOTO I UPLOADED... The screw driver has a white little switch on it: The middle is POWER OFF LEFT is counter clockwise RIGHT is clockwise. As i was building this wall cabinet, i switched the screw driver LEFT for counter clockwise rotation (to loosen screws). And when i tried to activate the screw driver, it worked but as soon as i tried to do anything with the screw driver bit, the rotation would stop. After i inspected the screw driver i realized the issue was this white switch. The switch kept getting stuck and not fully going into the LEFT position. If it's not fully in the left position it won't work well. It may spin but it won't have enough power to fully spin. I tested this by activating the screw driver so it would spin, as soon as i touched the screw driver bit with my finger it would stop spinning. THE SOLUTION: PUSH the white switch HARD into the left position so it's fully in that position (You should not have to do this) So i returned the defective screw driver and i kept the one that was good. AND SO FAR, i haven't had any problems with the other screw driver. I've used it many times. Very satisfied with it. ____________________ OTHER SMALL ISSUES: The LED flash light adds some bulk to the screw driver so when screwing screws at the tight corners of the wall cabinet, it did became a tiny bit tricky (but not impossible) to use. Black & Decker makes attachments for this screw driver for really tight corners. That might have helped i don't know. ____________________ PROS: - It's VERY powerful NOT as powerful as a drill but it's the next best thing for all sorts of tasks. It made building the cabinet much faster and saved my forearm / wrist from doing too much work. (No soreness after) So if you're older, have issues with your forearms and wrist. I think this product will be very helpful for you. - LED Flash light, i love it. It's pretty bright and useful. Comes in handy. - Battery, it last a very long time i don't know for how long but it's never run out on me yet. - It comes with 2 different drill bits, flathead and Philips-head screw (One sided bits) ____________________ CONS: - Double sided drill bit heads, they don't really fit in this screw driver. I mean, i was able to fit one from my previous electric black & decker screw driver. It fit, it slightly worked but it was a bit loose. (No pun intended) To make things worse, there's nothing on the screw driver that will allow you to hold the other screw driver bit. So i did what other people did, i took a rubber band put it around the screw driver and i slipped the other screw driver bit under it to hold it. Owners of this screw driver should not have to do that. Make the electric screw driver shaft longer to fit a double sided drill bit and it'll be even better and if you don't do that at least design the screw driver plastic to have a open notch to hold another drill bit. - Screw driver activation button, i think it could be positioned a little better. I think it should have been made to be a thumb button in that area under the white switch. ____________________ IN CONCLUSION: This product is really good. The only thing you need to fear is the white switch. That seems to be the most likely place this device will fail. Keep an eye out for that. AND NO, you can't drill holes into your wall with this screw driver, it's not THAT strong. Besides that, i recommend this product i think it's really good and worth the purchase.

I love this tool
This is the go-to tool in my house. Easy to use. Stays charged forever. (Seems like it.). I like the light and the articulated handle. I have used this for countless jobs. It is easy to change bits when the job requires a different tip.
