Watch the video multiple times until you have the process memorized. You will probably screw it up if you don't.I did this on two phones back to back, Samsung S23, and S22, both Ultras. Both worked great as mentioned. Couple of key lessons: take them seriously when they say to slide out the little block that allows the glass to descend very slowly on to the glue. If you go too fast, you will get bubbles, which cannot be removed. Secondly, make sure your table is perfectly level. Before curing, the glue is very thin and any incline on the table will make it run. You want it to stay in that perfect little blob dead center as the video shows. When the glass slowly descends on top of it, it will naturally wick out to the sides, but again being slow prevents bubbles from forming as you don't want it to wick out too fast. After the first one took an hour to make sure I was getting it right, the second one went really fast, probably 15 or 20 minutes. And whereas I got one bubble in the first one, I got none in the second, cuz I I knew what I was doing.The UV light that cures the glue is really interesting. I've never seen that happen, but it gets hard and rubbery, and the glue will not firm up absent being exposed to the UV light for a couple of minutes. Again follow the directions. You can start using the phone right away after you're done.Finally I am impressed with the fingerprint adaptation. As you may know many of these glass protectors make it really difficult for the fingerprint pass code feature to work on the S22 and S23. This is the best I've ever seen. One of the phones was new, and the other I had been using. I had to reregister the fingerprints on that one, but they seem to be working just fine now.One other hint, I have long learned that when putting down screen protectors to skip the alcohol wipes that they often include, and just use distilled water and microfiber cloths that I have around the house. Obviously make sure the microfiber cloth is clean; fresh out of the laundry is fine. And it's critical to use distilled and not any other kind of water. In fact distilled water is a great general glass cleaner for smudges and other dirt. I use it on my TV all the time after the kids' smudges from fingerprints build up. Use a flashlight at an oblique angle to make sure you have all the dust particles and just gently sweep the dry side of the microfiber cloth across to remove them. You can even blow on it a little bit but not too hard. You're not going to get clean room perfect, but just remove anything that's visible and you'll be fine.Overall good product. The one question I have is, given how that glue is so solid after curing, if the protector eventually cracks and I need to replace it, how does the glue residue come off? ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The most complete nearly idiot proof kit. Don't be intimidated by the number of pieces. *by C***M on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on April 16, 2023* Tldr; yeah get it.Verizon should be ashamed for the piece of junk glass they put on my S22 Ultra when I bought it. Now that I know there I'd an alternative, I almost feel like writing Samsung.The thing had a cutout circle over the fingerprint reader. So no matter what I was looking at, watching, reading - there was always this huge round scar on the bottom of the screen. And no small scar at that.It was the opposite of innocuous. It could not be ignored...and from that very first day - UNTIL TODAY - I have endured the absolute tragic aesthetic existence pushed onto an otherwise stunningly beautiful piece of technology.And all that for over $50 at retail. Pathetic.--This is a little more work than most screen protectors, but the results are stunning... and honestly once you've actually worked through it once you could do it again without any assistance.The whole UV curing liquid is another level of screen protection. If you do it right, the liquid fills in the entire surface between the glass plates and hardens into a completely translucent adhesive barrier... it is actually amazing."If" though, because I messed up the first one so bad I had to abort and restart. Got that stuff everywhere including on me. It started taking off the printed measuring numbers on my green craft cutting/working surface so keep it off your skin. Yikes.My mistake was the only weakness I found in the kit, namely that the black plastic wedge you use to carefully and slowly allow the glass to fall on the liquid blob is not held in place by any means and it was not where I thought I'd left it when I dropped the screen the first time.Oops. And I also proved all the warning true: you cannot touch the screen cover while the liquid is still uncured!It was slippery and difficult to wipe up, but let's just say the second attempt was an absolute success. I just remembered to hold that piece in place while dropping the glass on.The first cure was also kind of weird while the metal "hammer" was still on the screen holding the thumb area under pressure, but I just held it slightly above that piece for the cycle and then the next 3 cycles the lamp was placed on the jig. However, I bought this kit on Wednesday the 17th and applied it that same day by following the video exactly. Today is the 19th and I have not dropped or roughly handled my phone at all as I am very careful with new phones anyways. Imagine my surprise when I found a hairline fracture on my brand new screen protector like a day later. Thankfully it is not that noticeable but it happened out of nowhere and I don’t even remember what I could have possibly done to cause it. Like I said it hasn’t been dropped or roughly handled.For that reason, I will give it 4/5 stars.
