There are thought provoking questions at the end of each chapter... which forced me to take a hard look at the kind of relationships I have settled for actually, my entire life.One of the assignments I really benefited from was when it was suggested we pick areas of importance to us, based on characteristics of godly men in the Bible. So far I have six character traits I will look for in a man before I even become serious about having a second date with him. I have set my standards high now and the truth is, there ARE men with these character traits... but the number one guy is Jesus. He has set the standard for every guy... therefore, if He did it, that opened the door for every man to know, He can also, if he truly wants, to be like Jesus. This is exactly what I needed. It talks about how to become your best while waiting on God to give you to Mr Right. It is true and if you're not ready for a book that asks honest and raw questions, you might not like it. It gets to the root of things and your heart. You have to be willing to answer honestly. While I don't like to admit it, I need to work on these areas of myself with the help of the Holy Ghost. I truly think this is a great book. It also provides a study guide and meditation sections in the back for more in depth study.
