The mic is also RGB lit and reacts to if it’s muted or not, which adds to the aesthetic if that’s important to you, and has a small touch-based button to mute/unmute. In addition I also plugged in my headphones to listen to the playback. Ok it can pick up some outside sounds like a leaf blower going on outside my house or rustles around you but as long as your recording room is very quiet this microphone works very well without having to spend huge amount of money. I am this using for video voiceovers on with Cyberlink video editing software. . It works with virtually an program. I even used my NCH Voxal Voice changer software with this and it works beautifully. I have to see if it can be made to work with my iPad also, but I am told I would need a powered USB hub for that as this needs power to work and the iPad does not have enough power. I'm running Ubuntu 22.04 on a fairly new Dell Latitude. The OS will recognize the mic under Settings-Sound. Zoom will recognize the mic, but Audacity won't.
