Does NOT work with Unibind/Peleman thermal binding machines
Why did you pick this product vs others?: We have a Peleman thermal binding machine at the office. My project didn't require the formal, professional look of the Unibind/Peleman hardcovers so I thought these would be a nice option for a more casual but still professional look. In reading the reviews I missed the one that stated that these would NOT work with the Peleman machine. Frustrating and time-wasting to have missed that before ordering and attempting to finish my project, but these are actually nice covers so I'll keep them and just order a Binditek thermal binding machine to keep at my home office. An additional note: the label on the box I received stated that it contained 1/6" spine covers, not the 3/16" in the product description I sent a message to the vendor via Amazon and received a response the next day that confirmed that I did receive the correct product, but they'd had a mislabeling issue.

Expensive and just so so
Remarkably expensive - the clear cover has manufacturing marks on them - they seem to bind ok but I sincerely miss "coverbind". This is the product of monopoly pricing.

These are great binders. They would get a 5 star rating if only there was more attention to how the glue is set in the spine. Unfortunately there is a lump at the top end of the glue bead that does not permit the pages to sit perfectly. The end result is a book with the pages that lean further out to the right than the pages at the bottom. I appreciate that placing the glue bead is done by machine, but the product would be perfect if they figured this out. I tried snipping it flat, but the 1/8" binder is too narrow to fit a tool in there.
